Great Food , great beer , and great service !!
Man I wanted to love dougs and i still want to. Service is good, friendly people. Beer selections is enjoyable. Drinks aside, I had to take off stars because of the food. Their soup of the day was chicken noodle, im down for some hearty chicken noodle. But it was from a can. I can even tell you which brand, progresso. I mean, comn, its your soup of the day. I was just so disappointed that I couldn't enjoy the good parts of dougs. My rueben sandwich was 70% saukraut. Maybe it was an off day. The pickle spear was the best part. Hopefully the next visit will be better.

The Italian sub was excellent. The Reuben was good, but I like more dressing on it so I’ll ask for that next time. The deli meat for each sandwich was a good amount, particularly on the Reuben. The chips are Utz, nothing fancy. The waitstaff were friendly and the kitchen was fast. We definitely will be back.

Usually go to a great Greek place in Manassas for lunch, but they were unexpectedly closed for vacay. So the wife and I walked around old town to find something else, when we came upon Dougs. It's small but very clean and comfortable. With all sandwich places I try for the first time, I ordered a meatball sub to gauge how good this place was. It did not disappoint, in fact its the best meatball sub I've had since living in NY. Quality bread, very fresh and soft, with succulent meatballs that were perfectly seasoned, just the right amount of cheese. Delicious will be coming back to try some others.

I am a new teacher for Manassas City Public Schools, and today amongst teacher training we had a lunch break and I ended up at this awesome place.
I am glad I ended up here.
It's a super cool place, and I am a beer aficionado , so I was pleased to see beers here that I have never tried. Of course, I was working so I couldn't indulge, but I will be back.
I ordered a French Dip minus the provolone and it arrived promptly, as ordered, with an ample cup of succulent au jus.
Folks, this sandwich was amazing! The bread seemed like a thinned out ciabatta, and was a perfect, warm compliment to the tender, generous sliced beef and aforementioned au jus.
The sandwich was so nice and warm that I let it cool off for a bit and indulged in the potato chips and the crunchy dill pickle that accompanied the meal.
The food was heavenly, the environment was amazing, and the guy behind the counter was affable and helpful.
They have a wide selection of gourmet hot dogs, including a Chicago Dog, that Iam dying to try with an ice cold IPA and a whole roll of Tums!
This is an excellent local place, and I will spread the word!

I wish it was better for a local shop. I really enjoy supporting small local businesses. I'll continue to try this place out and hope they improve, but the pick up order for two people was disappointing. Soup was in some paper container that really isn't good for something like to-go soup. Part of it spilled out, you just sort of want a better container when you get something to go. The tomato soup itself was very disappointing, didn't taste good, very watery-do not recommend. They forgot the chips that came with the sandwich. And it just personally annoys me that they charge an extra fee for the pickle which generally comes with a sandwich everywhere else. The sandwich was on par with a prepacked sandwich from a grocery deli counter.
Great place and food

Large selection of tap beers, which I did not try. I ordered a to-go sandwich, the Mediterranean, which was healthy and full of flavor. The roll was perfect for this type of sandwich…the only way I can describe it is “nostalgic.”
Lovely atmosphere, the beer and food was delicious, and the service was friendly and speedy. Would definitely go back when I’m in the area!
Had a great experience at Doug's Deli & Taproom today. Stopped in for lunch and ordered an Italian sub with chips and a pickle.
The sub was done just the way I wanted it. Little bit of vinegar and oil, I think some oregano sprinkled. 1/4 Pickle spear was excellent.
Looks like a great selection of can and tab beers. I opted for a hazy NA that was great for a Monday lunch.
Looks like two story with most of the seating up stairs and a standing bar on the first floor.
Just had the best Reuben EVER. After a small error with the first sandwich they made everything right and made it so easy. Thanks Doug's Deli and staff. I will definitely be back.
Doug’s has these large salad with a small portion of salad dressing for it. In other words, I had to eat dry salad. Not good, also they load up the lettuce and that’s about it. I’ve paid for chicken and it was horrendous the portion they put. I expected better what a disappointment. Definitely not worth the price.
