Man I wanted to love dougs and i still want to. Service is good, friendly people. Beer selections is enjoyable. Drinks aside, I had to take off stars because of the food. Their soup of the day was chicken noodle, im down for some hearty chicken noodle. But it was from a can. I can even tell you which brand, progresso. I mean, comn, its your soup of the day. I was just so disappointed that I couldn't enjoy the good parts of dougs. My rueben sandwich was 70% saukraut. Maybe...

The Italian sub was excellent. The Reuben was good, but I like more dressing on it so I’ll ask for that next time. The deli meat for each sandwich was a good amount, particularly on the Reuben. The chips are Utz, nothing fancy. The waitstaff were friendly and the kitchen was fast. We definitely will be back.

Usually go to a great Greek place in Manassas for lunch, but they were unexpectedly closed for vacay. So the wife and I walked around old town to find something else, when we came upon Dougs. It's small but very clean and comfortable. With all sandwich places I try for the first time, I ordered a meatball sub to gauge how good this place was.
