After having been told how amazing this place was, I finally gave it a try. Super disappointed. Maybe it was an off day but my birria tacos lacked any seasoning and the queso I received looks nothing like the photos. I guess I’m used to a queso blanco at these more authentic places and that’s what the picture on the menu shows but what I got looks and tastes like velveeta. You can see in the picture it’s orange. Definitely a miss.
Definitely worth the drive! I’ve read many great things about this place and wanted to check it out. I wish I would’ve taken pics of the food. The portions were plentiful, the food tasted so good, and the staff were so kind and friendly. The rice and beans were to die for! 🤤 Lili was our server and she was very sweet and helpful! Gracias, Lili y todos de La China Poblana!!
