Suya is my absolute favorite food! And Suya Square does it wonderfully! I lived in the South and now live here in Virginia. I have tried MANY restaurants looking for that perfect Suya and Suya Square does it effortlessly. I am so glad they have the food truck now! This will definitely be my weekend go to! 5 stars easy!

super flavorful, smoked meat, and amazing customer service

The initial customer service was excellent. The meat had a nice smokey flavor to it and the seasoning and sauce gave it some heat. I'm giving them a 1 star because when I received my food the food was not hot. I picked up a fry and it was like room temp like it had been sitting for hours on the counter. I tasted it was nowhere near fresh.. They said it sits in a warmer. They weren't even warm. We paid in cash and asked if we could get some fresh fries or get refunded the amount for both sides of fries since they were inedible. The guy said it would take took long to get the propel going again but he could refund us $3 to get us fries from McDonald's or something. I said we had two orders of fries I doubt that would cover the cost of what we paid. We spent $40 on two meals (a leg quarter and fries and beef and fries)and he only wanted to give us $3. I understand it costs to prepare the food but it seemed like they didnt really want to give the money up or cook fresh food. This is no way to gain customers and keep them coming back. We even tipped them $5. Let's just say we got our $5 tip back and they refunded us $1 for our troubles. We will NOT be back. I was excited to try something new and would have come back had they made it right to begin with and not make it so hard to be satisfied. The meat was the best part but it was all lukewarm and overpriced.

My first time having Suya but definitely not the last! Suya Square was at Lowe’s in Manassas today and I had the pork Suya with spicy sauce and it was amazing. The crew working there were awesome as well, it was an excellent experience and I can’t wait to find them again.

The best suya in the DMV, better yet ever. I enjoyed every bits, the beef was juicy,m. can’t wait to get some more this weekend. Thank you Suya Square for the experience.

Picked up my food and it was delicious can’t wait to order again!!

Saw this place last weekend in the Lowe’s parking lot and was hoping it would be back again. Turns out they’re going to be there every weekend. Ordered the Suya Beef with plantains today and it was DELICIOUS. Really friendly staff who let us try some chicken as well while we waited — also great.

The food was amazing. It's hard to find plantains cooked like that in Manassas. I was looking for an African spot and end up finding this spot on Google base on a search. I am so happy I found it and you know the best cooked food is home made. So this was made at someones house for pickup. The suya had the right amount of smokyness and flavor but next time please add more suya powder I love alot of suya powder. The plaintain were cooked to perfection and was the right amount of sweetness.

You just have to order your suya and taste it for yourself. I can't describe the deliciousness of the suya. Everything is spiced to perfection!

I didn’t know this place was at someone’s home, so I was very skeptical about the meat and the plantain. However, the guy is friendly and the food was delicious. My fiancé and I definitely enjoyed the lamb suya. I will be ordering some more soon.

I took a chance and drove over 50 miles to patronize Suya Square. I was not disappointed. The meat was thin, well marinated and seasoned, cooked over charcoal and very delicious. You can taste the love with which it was made. The portions were very generous too! I will drive over 50miles again in the future to patronize this business.

the suya is amazing! both beef and lamb. and the owners are amazing and so nice, inviting, and sweet, i would recommend trying them again and again and again. really good, tastes so close to the african taste. kitchen and the place cooked in is very clean. LIKE VERY CLEAN. all in all i’m happy i found them.
