The store seems clean and well kept but the staff here is quite rude, zero care to provide customer service or even a smile. Getting a smoothie order shouldn't ruin their day, a smile goes a long way.

I am giving a one star overall rating because this store often has a very stinky odor. When you walk in, the bad smell hits ya.

If it were not for the bad smell, I would give the place a 4 or 5 star rating for the food and service.

Please fix the stink.

Worst place ever to get a smoothie and then the shift leader is no better than the employees they don’t help or know what to do when an issue arise smoothies never look like what they’re supposed to and they really don’t care to fix it. They always just say we’ll make it again and then when they remake it, it’s still just as nasty

I was coming in the mornings before work. I do work right next to a tropical smoothie in Centreville and I think I’ll be keeping my business there for now on. I’m assuming the owner used to be there in the mornings but now it’s only young girls that have zero personality and cannot make a smoothie. The smoothies have been terrible and I'm honestly over the rudeness. And I know I’m not the only one, look at all the negative reviews about the inconsistent smoothies and the atmosphere/ attitudes of staff. I always get a bahama mama with extra WC or chia seeds and they have tasted terrible all week and the other week, too.

You come into a bright tropical establishment hoping the people match the theme. Yea that’s a joke. Whoever the new girl working has a terrible attitude& the smoothies are terrible. I’ve wasted 3 this week, and not returning. Ridiculous they ask for a tip, sorry they apply it theirselves….. you can’t even smile when I walk in and you want a tip for already doing your job?? Goodbye 😂

Every time we have come to this location, the smoothies are inconsistent. One time it will taste fine and the next time the same smoothie tastes like nothing. Or it has a very artificial flavor. Food wasn’t good either. Something’s up with the staff here, idk why they can’t follow the recipes.

I went in as a first time customer looking forward to trying and having a smoothie. No one at the counter though eventually a woman came never asking if I needed help so I simply said can I make a custom smoothie. No comment she handed me a menu. She did not say for what. I assumed the ingredients where in there so I just simply started talking and asking if they had spinach to start. Oddly she was standing there not really paying attention but not doing anything else but holding a menu. I said again do you have Spinach and she said Si Spanish. Okay, after that I started to asked about other ingredients and she literally walked away never to be seen again :) just took off in the back somewhere so I had to leave. That was my honest feedback about my first visit so I found Smoothie King. Was helped right away. The young lady answered all my questions. Welcomed me up on arrival and thanked me as I walked out. Sorry for the review.

I was excited to get a tropical smoothie on Sudley side, I always went to the location off of Liberia. The smoothies at this location have been watery, they are using more ice and are not smoothies but more like slushies. The staff is young and they have trouble receiving feedback and resolving issues. I had a coupon for that location that didn't expire until August and because they couldn't find it in the system they state it couldn't be used. They do not honor coupons that they advertise for their location. I did ask for the manager but there wasn't any available. The food is great no complaints but wish the smoothies were just as good as their other location.

Great food. Had it ready before I even walked in (online order basically from the parking lot). They forgot to give us straws for all the drinks, but the food was fresh and delicious and the smoothies were loved by all. I didn't eat the kale apple slaw that came with my order, but my spouse liked it. Would definitely try it again.

I am a loyal tropical smoothie customer. I went to the Manassas location and waited for 15min for someone to take my order or even acknowledge me. I ended up leaving without ordering anything. Please hire more staff. And do better!

This is a new franchise store. The first 2 times I went in, senior management was present and the smoothie was excellent. This time, no senior management, the clerks English was not well enough to take an order, and the smoothie was terrible.

Every single order I have made at this location has had something wrong with it, there either seems to be a lack of training or pure incompetence from both the location owner and most staff. Both ordering at the location and delivering seems to result in wrong items, poor quality of ingredients and food often being made incorrectly.
