A friend and I had heard that Halterman's had great food and they were correct. We both had the jumbo shrimp lunch platter and it was delicious. The jumbo shrimp I got were definitely jumbo but it was the sides that really impressed me. The fries were incredible that came with it as were the hush puppies which were very large hush puppies and perfectly delicious. They bring out a basket of what must be hand cut, homemade fries before your order and these were also delicious....
Great experience for our first time. Got the scallops and fried oysters. Baked potato was so good. GET THE SHE CRAB SOUP!!! Best I’ve ever had. Our server was great. Food takes a bit to come out but we didn’t have an issue with that.
