We visited three wineries during our tour, and this one stood out by far for the exceptional quality of its wine. The experience was made even more special by the time we spent with the owner—warm, knowledgeable, and passionate. A truly memorable tasting, and we couldn’t leave without taking a few bottles home to enjoy!

My favorite winery in Virginia (For the reds). Boldest flavors. Closest to mature tastes like old vine vineyards. I've been told RDV is comparable, but I'm not paying eleventy billion dollars for a thimble taste to find out.

I am not a wine lover, but my boyfriend is. We took an impromptu trip to this winery yesterday and let me tell you, as soon as I walked in the door it felt like home. The owner greeted us at the door and asked what kind of wines or alcohol in general we normally go for. He then walked us over to the bar and had me, since I'm the picky one, try a few before selecting what I want to sip on! I actually found one that I enjoyed, a first! A total win!
