Hidden gem!! Best red wines in VA hands down. It's off the beaten path, and kids/dogs are not allowed, but worth the trip. We live in MD and this is a must visit place whenever we are in VA.
We visited three wineries during our tour, and this one stood out by far for the exceptional quality of its wine. The experience was made even more special by the time we spent with the owner—warm, knowledgeable, and passionate. A truly memorable tasting, and we couldn’t leave without taking a few bottles home to enjoy!
My favorite winery in Virginia (For the reds). Boldest flavors. Closest to mature tastes like old vine vineyards. I've been told RDV is comparable, but I'm not paying eleventy billion dollars for a thimble taste to find out.
