“Children welcomed INSIDE and cherished here!! We loved this winery! There were 8 adults and our 3 month old grandson. We were welcomed and felt at home. The wine is delicious and the food was yummy! They made us feel like family. We even hung out with Beans the cat. Thanks for a fun relaxing afternoon.”

Lisa led our wine tasting, and she was fantastic! She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, but what really stood out was how fun and engaging she made the entire experience.

We also had the chance to meet the owner, Howard, which made the visit even more special. He was so welcoming and easy to talk to, and you could tell he genuinely enjoys connecting with guests. He made everyone feel comfortable and added a really personal touch to the visit.

Between the great wines, the beautiful setting, and the warm hospitality from Lisa and Howard, Chateau O’Brien is a place I would absolutely recommend. If you’re looking for a fun and welcoming winery experience, this is definitely one to check out.”

“This is my husband and I’s favorite walkable date spot! The cupcakes are AMAZING, the coffee is great, and the employees are so friendly and welcoming. We go here so often that many of the employees know us personally! We also got our gender reveal cupcakes from here and they were perfect! 10/10 recommend!”

“Alright so let me start by saying that this restaurant was a bit farther out of the way than I usually drive for a dinner, but I had been recommended the place so figured why not.

From the greeting, to the table setting, to the professionalism exemplified by all of the staff, I knew we were in for a treat. Colin, Maria, Cece, and another gentleman with longer hair who's name I didn't get all served us and it was all wonderful. Colin spoke with us the most, and was so knowledgeable about the place, you can tell he loves working there. The chef came to meet us, and he also was very kind.

The menu rotates so it's not a guarantee that you'll have what I had, but the brown butter old fashioned, the limoncello, the strawberry lemon torte, and the chilled tomato soup all stuck out to me as stellar.

We will be back, worth the splurge price point for sure.”

“I came to celebrate my birthday with a group of seven friends. We originally had a reservation for six people and I added an additional two, in a seprate online reservation. I called ahead to let them know we were running late. We were told it was okay and they would still be able to accommodate us. When we arrived my party was at two separate tables. One table was for two and the other was for six. I asked the waitress if it was possible to move the two guest to our table of six. She said "no" and I said "okay, I understand." Then the general manger Ken Gray came over yelling at my me and my table of guests. He aggressively told me that they can't do that, however, it was unnecessary because it was already understood and accepted. We enjoyed our $800 tasting until, Ken Gray came back again, aggressively telling us that we needed to get up because the next party was there. I proceeded to get up to go outside and he came back again after I left yelling at my guests. I felt discriminated against and definitely did not feel welcomed at Crimson Lane Vineyards as an African American woman. I was extremely disappointed in Ken Gray's aggressive behavior. It put a damper on my birthday celebration!”

“Love the atmosphere and the food. I came in by myself without reservations. The host at the front went out of his way to find me a table but none were available and a 45 minute wait. Finally a seat at the bar opened and he asked me if I minded sitting there, I said no problem. The bar tender who waited on me was very polite and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Great service and checked on me frequently. I highly recommend this place! I had Fish and Chips snd Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. That was soo good.”

She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to share the history of the winery while guiding us through the wine selections. “Sunday, April 22, 2024, my wife and I were entertained at Delaplane Cellars tasting room by our old friends Keith & Viqui Dill AKA the Dill Pickers. We had a fantastic time listening to some great Bluegrass and Blues selections while enjoying several glasses of exquisite wine. We are hoping that they will book the Dill Pickers in the future and give us more than one day's notice so we can invite several friends to their venue. The staff were very courteous and attentive to our needs. As a disabled Vietnam veteran, I sometimes am not the most graceful so when I accidentally knocked over my glass of wine the staff were there instantly to clean up the mess and replace my wine. Our visit was exhilarating and the views were beautiful.”
