Yummy pulled pork sandwiches and apple cider donuts. Lots of tourists during leaf-peeping season but as a local, it's a great place to get a meal.Gift shop has items from all over Virginia.
The weirdest place but with the best donuts in all the land! My partner and I were doing a day from DC to Shenandoah and found The Apple House online before hand so we stopped on our way home. We didn't know much about it, just that we wanted their apple cider donuts. First timer here. After hearing many glowing remarks about the Apple cider donuts at this establishment, I made the 1.5 hour drive out to Linden, VA. Walking in, it reminded me of your classic general store on steroids. There was a little bit of everything from signs with cute sayings to a variety of hard ciders from across the state.
