Came here with a bigger group closer to the end of the day. I appreciated being able to reserve an indoor table and ability to bring our own food. The red wines for us were just okay. We typically prefer heavier bodied ones. The only one we liked was the raptor red.
Great atmosphere. The food is light fare and very good. The wines are wonderful. Dog and child friendly.
Give 4 because wines are not so tasty
My mom and I decided to stop in here after spending the morning apple picking in the area. We researched wineries in the area that were dog friendly and offered more to eat than just charcuterie items because we were pretty hungry and decided to make it our lunch. This was one of the few in the area that offered other menu items such as sandwiches, baked brie, hummus, brunch items, etc.
I had my dog with me so this place is perfect because they are super dog friendly! My dog was even allowed to go inside the tasting room with me!
When we first walked in we were greeted by two very lovely ladies (and a cat!). They were both super kind and friendly and made sure we felt welcome with my dog inside too. My mom and I didn't plan on staying long as this was our last stop of the day and we were pretty far out from my home so we skipped a tasting and ordered a glass of their spiced cider sangria, which we both loved! Then we ordered the baked brie, which was served with apple butter and crackers, as well as the caprese sandwich. Both were delicious! We sat outside on the deck where it was quiet and peaceful. Views were nice. If I am ever out in the area I'd go back!
Had a wonderful visit today! Excellent wine, tasty food, and incredibly friendly, attentive staff.
Great place to meet friends and family for some good drinks and food, great decor inside and out. Outdoor and indoor seating available, order inside for food and drinks, there is a water station inside near the restrooms. Dogs are welcome!
We had a truly enjoyable visit on a crisp fall Friday afternoon after apple picking at nearby Stribling Orchard (a must-do experience). The setting was beautiful and the wines reflected some of the very best of what Virginia has to offer. The $20 per person tasting provided a nice overview of the current selections; however, the pours were exceptionally light - significantly under what we have experienced at similarly priced tastings elsewhere - which detracted somewhat from the overall value. That said, the wines themselves did not disappoint, and we were still able to discover a few favorites to bring home.
The food was excellent, and the atmosphere suggested this would be a perfect weekend destination for a longer visit, a leisurely meal, or time spent strolling the grounds. Despite the under-poured tasting, we look forward to returning and exploring more of what this winery has to offer.
Showed up at 5:30 on a Saturday, website says they close at 7. They said they already did last call so they couldn't serve us because they're closing at 6. Their website says nothing about closing early. About 70 minutes from home. Smh. Also the driveway is ridiculous. Forced to back up on a winding single lane with drop offs because the entrance and exit share the same tight single lane. Couldn't try the wine so no positive sadly.
It was amazing, I loved it. Perfect scenery and wine was great. First free flight is a brilliant idea.
I went to this lovely winery yesterday with my friend and her dog. We weren’t sure what to expect but I must say this was one of the best winery experience I’ve had in a long time. I’m always embarrassed to admit I’m a sweet wine person but the sommelier suggested a delicious white called Meadow. The sales team was exceptionally kind, had a snack for Frannie (the dog) and wasn’t pushy. I live near by and have been to most of the wineries in the area, my friend and I agree that NM wine is top tier and definitely worth the trip. I will most definitely be back!

Excellent wines, beautiful views and tasting room. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Stunning spot with a large terrace showcasing vineyard and mountain views, and a spacious, air‑conditioned interior filled with plush leather couches, perfect for relaxing indoors or out. They offer an excellent wine selection, and the 2021 Summit red blend stood out. Friendly service, family friendly, cozy atmosphere, and great wines.
Children welcomed INSIDE and cherished here!! We loved this winery! There were 8 adults and our 3 month old grandson. We were welcomed and felt at home. The wine is delicious and the food was yummy! They made us feel like family. We even hung out with Beans the cat. Thanks for a fun relaxing afternoon.
If you enjoy a glass of wine then you will like this winery! They have very cute and friendly cat that will say hi and probably ask for some snack.
The wines were very approachable, the service and staff were fun and engaging. The only downside was, as a sun-sensitive person who still likes the outdoors, there wasn’t a lot of shade available on the large open outdoor decks.
