I was traveling today, seen this local spot on the map so I stopped in, and got an order to go. I got a Marshall's club, agreed to the upcharge on the fries, and was told it would be about 8min. When I got my food and got back in my truck, popped the container, and COLD FRIES! I was charged an extra $1.50 and waited 10 min for COLD fries, terrible. Sandwich was decent but I won't be stopping on my way back through town.
I was coming home from DC and saw the sign on the highway and decided to give it a try. Oh my gosh I was not disappointed! I got the open face roast beef and it was fantastic! The beef was tender and the mashed potatoes were definitely homemade! The German Chocolate Cake reminded me of my Grandma!
Just stopped in. We always drive past and say that we are going to try this place. We finally did and we were very pleased with the results. We are having country omelette and the food is very tasty. We will definitely have to come back soon. If you see the sign on 66, stop in and you won’t regret it.
