Totally worth the 6 mile detour from the highway. Lovely, simple little spot with very nice and attentive folks. Food is fresh, veggies crisp, , coffee is good and bright. Lotsa locals of all races who clearly cherish each other..

1st time there, BUT it definitely won't be our last. We live 45 minutes away so we do wish that they were open for supper. I got hot dogs with chili & slaw, both homemade. Wife got a cheeseburger, huge and hand pattied. I saw a hamburger steak on someone else's plate. It was massive.

The best food ! Everything cooked to order. Eggs cooked the way you want. Bacon is good and pleany. Grits are hot and good. Biscuits and gravy is delicious. Toast and fresh sliced tomatoes. The Best hot dogs in town! Great friendly service. Great atmosphere. Always greated with a smile. Great homemade food. Would go there before anywhere else for the best food, service, and price in town!!

This place was highly recommended so we went for breakfast. We pulled up and just sat there for a minute. It doesn't look very nice from the outside and we weren't sure if we wanted to go in. But we did...and we're glad we did! The service is outstanding and the food always comes out hot, unlike most places! The biscuits are the best I've ever had. I could just have those for breakfast and I'd be happy! Now I'm the one who highly recommends it!
D&A is great place for Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Pintos and Onions, and daily Blue Plate Specials. I go at least once a week

Arrived at this delightful family owned business, and was greeted at the door by a sign saying “Cash Only. No debit or credit cards.” We were able to cough up a few $$$$ in cash, but not enough to order the way we wanted. Maybe this business expects us to go to an ATM before visiting.
