Great Experience and Food!

The owner Roberto and his staff were the sweetest and most professional I've seen in a restaurant. They were available for whatever I needed. They were flexible in every manner. I suggest you go there just to eat. A GREAT TIME WAS HAD for my Mother's 89th birthday. It was 21 of us out-of-towners and they are still talking about it. Thank you so much Roberto... and I'll be back when in town again.

Started with warm rolls with marinara. Ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. They were delicious. My husbandhad prime rib as an entrée and I had sirloin with red wine and mushroom sauce. Both were excellent. The waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was very nice. We will definitely return. It was a great experience. No complaints at all.

We will definitely be going here more often! My wife and I had an awesome date night dinner here. Great food, casual or romantic atmosphere, and piano bar player on Friday nights. In downtown Martinsville, this is the restaurant and lounge we would recommend!
Bon appetit and enjoy. R&R

Very nice place to spend our anniversary. Shavonda was great, prompt and fast service, large selection of if choices, awesome dishes, and she brought us a complimentary piece of cake that was out of this world. Count on getting a to go box! Classiest restaurant in Martinsville, bar none.

I had lunch at Rania's on a Saturday at lunch. Nice atmosphere. I had the prime rib special. It was tender and very good for the price. I would highly recommend.

My gf and I were at the Speedway for a charity event and wanted to go somewhere nice for dinner after . We looked up Ranias and liked the reviews . The place looked nice when we walked in but being only one of two parties in the entire place made me wonder if they were getting ready to close. I'm not sure who is doing the reviewing but our experience was anything but 5 stars .

The chicken dish my gf ordered was sub par at best and the prime rib dish I ordered was tough as shoe leather and looked more like a well done flat iron steak . The only things that actually tasted decent was the tomato basil cream soup for my appetizer and the chocolate mousse cake we shared for dessert. For the price I paid for everything at the end of the night , I should have recieved better quality from the kitchen .

We won't be going here again the next time we come through the area . I would not recommend to anyone unless they get a better cook in the kitchen

Our group of friends had lunch at Ranias on Tuesday, 11/12. I just want to commend our awesome and VERY Impressive waitress, Shavonda!! We were a party of 16 and she took care of us so quickly and professionally with kindness and a big smile! But most impressive was her ability to take all our orders without writing anything down!!! And every order was correct even with special request!’ She even took our group photo for us😃 Thank you for a wonderful experience and great meal!

This is a lovely place inside. It is so very well decorated that I had to take a few pictures. Do shrimp cocktail was very good though not traditional. The stuffed mushrooms were excellent. And the prime rib was cooked just right. Our server was super friendly and very helpful.

I can't believe we've been here for almost three years and had not yet tried this place. It was awesome! And Friday night is piano guy night. 😀

Last Wednesday evening I wanted to take my son and daughter to the nicest restaurant in town so we went to Rania's. It was 6 p.m., supposedly a prime dinner hour. We entered and there was no one up front to greet us. We stood there for several minutes and my son loudly shook the bells on the front door to try to get someone's attention but no one came. My daughter had to use the restroom so she went to the back and said that she did not see a server anywhere. There was a table of customers that we could hear and that she passed on the way to the restrooms. My son shook the bell again and we waited but no one came. I finally walked a little toward the serving doors and shouted out "Yoo Hoo!"......crickets. We left after waiting approximately 15 minutes.
I give two stars because the food and service are usually excellent at Rania's. We were highly disappointed that no one came to show us to a table.

Very pricey! Mediocre food, really not good; heinously salty and low quality meat. Staff was friendly, sure, but not well trained.
