Blueberry muffins among the best I have ever tasted!

I am very disappointed with my order of petit fours. They were wet, puffy and tacky. I ordered 100 for a fundraiser at a cost of $209 ($2.14 each). When I called to complain, I was told I could get a full refund if I returned them. However, this was at 3:30 pm, and the fundraiser was set to begin at 6:30 pm. If I had returned them, I wouldn’t have had anything to serve. I placed the order weeks in advance and was assured they could be frozen. Instead, she chose to dip them in icing on a humid day, just an hour before pickup, which caused them to become wet and sticky to the touch. You couldn’t pick them up—they had to be eaten with a fork. She could have at least offered a discount or split the cost for this disaster.

Great assortment of savory and sweet! Breads, fritattas, quiche, miffins, cookies and more! Found this little gem during a very rainy weekend visit to Martinsville. Got some baked goods and pimento cheese. Will be back.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way back from our road trip and it was the only bakery that came up on google that looked good. He got a s’mores brownie and double chocolate chip muffin and I got two of the big cinnamon rolls that were rolled in cinnamon. Everything was so delicious! And the young man in the front was very helpful and even warmed up our items for us. Hopefully we’ll be able to make our back there!

New owners. The bakery is not up to the standards of the original bakery. Brought home several items and other family members thought they dry and overall not flavorful. I spent $30 and threw most of the food away. It wasn’t I don’t recommend!

The wedding cake that was made for my brother and sister in law’s wedding was amazing

This girl!! I got a phone call from my scheduled baker the morning of pick up that they were not able to complete my wedding cake. But Sun Rising Breads took me by the hand and reassured me that my dream would be fulfilled. She delivered, set up, and decorated my cake in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend her simply because she saved the day. But most importantly the taste of the cake was amazing with no left overs. Perfectly sweet, and very moist. I'll be back for that strawberry cake I see in the pics.Yummy yummy yummy

Just recently started going there, and I loved it! I've gotten there baked goods, breads,and cookies,cinnamon rolls to die for as well as some of their frozen entries and their soups too! I'm glad that we have such a wonderful bakery so close.
