Ole Mercy I have found my new favorite Restaurant!!! On a Sunday drive to Danville and back we stopped in here after a google search of top places to eat in Martinsville and It was Fantastic! I had the Pork Chop with Yams and COLLARD GREENS!!!!! Yes I Screamed Collard Greens!!! While the Pork Chop and Yams was delicious and also the Mac and Cheese was the best I ever had in a restaurant let me tell you bout them COLLARD GREENS!!!! We were coming through the area and stopped in based on the food reviews! They did not disappoint!! Soul food at its very finest!! Chicken and pork chops fall off the bone! Atmosphere was great too!! The owner came out to speak to us and he was the absolute nicest man! Highly recommend if you’re in the area…or in our case we’ll drive the two hours back to eat here again!
I stopped in on a random Sunday while on a road trip, the place surprised me how large and upbeat it was! Great atmosphere. They were having a Sunday buffet with great soul food. The owner Rico welcomed me with big arms and you can tell he has passion for his place. Nice clean bar, hometown service and vibe. Best place I found in the city to have a beer/cocktail and some food! I’ll be back for sure
