I bought two pounds of briskets on August 12, 2025. The briskets were cut in chunks. It was dry and very tough. My family had to abandon that for dinner. I had recook it on the stove to with barbecue sauce and water for almost four hours. I would not recommend that to anyone.

This our 2nd time visiting the resort but the first trying out this restaurant and it will be the last time. Over priced little bit of food, the pulled pork was cold, they gave me 1 slice of brisket that had fatty pieces. Kids meal size fries, we waited over 20 mins just to get cold pulled pork. The best thing i had was the coleslaw slaw which I can tell wasn't made there.

From the ordering process, to the food quality to the helpfullness of the staff this place fails to impress. I'm actual surprised Massanutten permits them to serve food at the resort. It definitely. Begins your experience with a poor outlook. The kiosk doesn't include some menu items and makes ordering difficult, the food besides the meat lacks flavor and is worse than cooking up something at home. The staff aren't exactly attentive when you go back in to correct your order or ask for additional sauce since their serving doesn't adequately cover the sandwich. When in doubt just always go to the Campfire Grill. Never had a bad experience.

Ordered two large pizzas and a house salad. I did not like the salad. The pizzas were not fully cooked, the sauce was terrible, and the pizza crust had a goofy smell to it. Myself, and my family thought the pizzas were awful. Prices were high also. The customer service was good. Staff was polite, and helpful which is hard to find now.

This place has no order … they ask you to order on a kiosk and than the order isn’t sent to the kitchen until after you pay after u wait on a line for more than 20 mins ….what an insult …. Never will I ever come back here no customer service at ALL

The food was hot and decent. The service was soooo slow. We waited forever on our order. We tried again later in the week (today) and was met with the same long wait time . We also ran into them being out of menu items at 6:30. The store had no clean tables to sit at even though only 2 tables were being used. So overall, food is great, staff is friendly, but the insanely slow wait time for order and cleanliness of restaurant leaves little to be desired. We won’t be back.
This place has gotten worse over the years. The last time I came, my ribs were way undercooked, and it took about 40 minutes for them to fix it. The food was disgusting overall, I’m not joking. You would think that a resort would make sure their food would be at least decent. My partner got a pizza and it was extremely doughy, and tasted worse than a fast food pizza. My partner then tried their pizza again this year and he had the same experience. All I can say is that unless their food massively improves, DO NOT eat here.

First the good: The beef brisket was delicious, tender with great flavor. Banana Pudding was also delicious. Pizza was okay, nothing too special. Bad: collard greens didn't have much flavor, was very basic. I expect better from a BBQ place. Service was not good. I wanted to call in a pick up order. I tried over 10 times, finally got an answer and she told me to hold and hung up. Went to the location to order. The kiosk were not the easiest to use with very little directions. Got the order placed, I asked how long and it took about twice as long as she stated. The lady at the register was nice. Could tell they were short people and just trying to keep up. Willing to give it another shot when were are back up there.
