“The campfire grill exceeded expectations. Many of the reviews were mixed with people saying they didn't get enough value for their money but I don't know where they live, because we were completely satisfied.

Completely satisfied two types of eaters.
1. I'm a foodie and I want higher-end quality. I ordered the bourbon salmon over sauteed onions and had maple squash and smashed potatoes. The salmon was wonderful, seared perfectly and flavored lovely. The sides especially the squash was great. The potatoes aren't anything to write home but I would definitely get their beans next time. I had expected they might have too much saturation of fat and bacon and they didn't. It was $28.

I added an $12 wine flight by a local winery and it was very generously poured in appropriate glassware. Each wine went well with my food.

2. I travel with a friend who likes more pedestrian tastes of classic hamburgers. She had the sizzling cheesy burger and loved it. She got a side of the green beans and they were not only plentiful, they were cooked perfectly and only a little bit of bacon. It was $18.

Another treat is that it was kids eat free day. I'm glad we went in between meals so we didn't have to be with a lot of children but that's a great deal.

We left completely satisfied and needing no other food for the rest of the afternoon. I plan to go back and I'm hoping to have the chicken pot pie.”

“This is where the magic happens on the Massannutten resort at night! Lots of live music every night...quite entertaining for adults and kids! The only downside is that the indoor space is small to accommodate many people during the winter. There is a lot of outdoor space which I believe compensates during the warmer/summer months.”

“We had the most amazing Cream of Crab soup I have ever eaten in my life! Kudos to the chef! What an awesome special that should be on the menu everyday! It was perfect! Being born in New Orleans, I am a bit of a snob and that hit it out of the park! The staff was kind and courteous, knowledgable as well as helpful! The shrimp Alfredo was amazing as well! With food and service above and beyond what we ever expected..we will be back for more!

“I got the platter dish and it was so good with their southern collard greens, ribs and homestyle potato salad.

Giving it 4 stars because it had been a long day at Massanutten (plus rain etc) upon arrival the restaurant wasn’t tidy and I could tell they were short staffed. I asked the cashier if they could wipe down tables and they did. They were busy but staff were pleasant.”

“I find the food to be absolutely delicious and the service takes it over the top. When you compare to other local restaurants the prices are really very reasonable.”

“The delicious food and beverages at Moxie’s are fresh and hot made to order. The friendly and efficient staff here are wonderful I encourage add their “toast” app for easy ordering. Moxies is my new favorite “I deserve a treat”…. Addictive (in a good way!). Thank you to the owners and employees for always making our visits to Moxies enjoyable!!”

“My wife and I were here vacationing and decided to try something new and we stumbled upon Tacos4Life. We stood at the menu gazing not knowing how/what to order. We were then met with the most friendliest smile. Her name is Nicole. She patiently walked us through the menu. We ordered and received our food very quickly. The food was delicious to say the least and Nicole checked on us and even gave us a $10 off coupon for our next visit. This experience was so great that we came back a sec in time. We got to meet the owner this time. Definitely 5 stars as you could just feel the vibes were more than positive but Full of love! Anytime we are back in this area, this will be a must for us. “I love this restaurant but I ordered the small meat loves pizza for lunch the other day and was less than impressed for the first time ever. It was the stringy fatty bacon that did not fully cook. Partially cooked and not built under other meats might crisp and it make better. However, I will most likely never order this again.”
