“Rudy's Diner is of the best places to eat .The portions you get is surprising. They are not stingy on food .Everyone that visits me from away I always take them to eat their. Service is fantastic and fast.I recommend Rudy's to all my family and friends. It's just an awesome place.Parking: They even have a veteran parking spaceWheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchair users.”
“This is one of my favorite places to eat. I've had the fajitas, fish tacos, taco salad, arroz con camerone, quesadilla... and everything has always been absolutely amazing. The food is always fabulous and fresh. Clean and warm environment. The staff is very friendly and kindParking: Parking available in front of restaurant is kind of limited. However, there's additional space available on the side of the restaurantKid-friendliness: Kids have several options to choose from”
“Clean, friendly atmosphere! Something for everyone! Fried oysters on occasion and fried to perfection. This is a must visit when in the Town of Shenandoah, has lots of hidden affordable treasures!”
“We placed an order for delivery while staying in the area. The host who took my call was polite/knowledgeable. The food arrived hot, the driver was very courteous and we very much enjoyed our NY style pizza and wings- delicious! We didn't dine in so I didn't rate the atmosphere, but I can tell it's the type of place that is welcoming. Mama Mia's for the win!”
“Excellent juice; freshly made and refreshing. I took a couple cookies home as well and they were tasty too. The place is UNIQUE and the owner is very friendly. I will likely visit again when I am out that way. She has a punch card for frequent visitors, but alas, I do not reside in the area.”
“What a cute spot! The outdoor only seating has its own ambiance, and they do a great job of making it all weather. We were impressed with the menu options, and oh my gosh.. the food!We love japchae and kimbap but this is definitely the top 3 best we’ve had. Everything tasted homemade, and made the trip from Elkton to Stanardsville and was still hot and fresh when we got home. Will definitely be back! I am so glad there’s a spot like this in the area.”
“Cute little coffee shop. Coffee was ? Lemon blueberry muffin was sooooo good. I was worried it wouldn't be because it was gluten free but I was not disappointed! Their Iced latte is one of my top ones on my list. Staff super friendly! Definitely recommend!”
“When visiting family in the area, we try to get to the Brewery every time especially on nights they have live music. The clientele are all down to earth friendly people. Mostly large tables, so we usually wind up sharing a table with one or two other groups that we don’t know and we make new friends every time. Family atmosphere from young children (early) to us seniors.Large variety of beers from IPA to Lager to infused variety.Food truck with mostly pizza (many toppings) and goes well with the beer!Have outside sitting also with a train or two passing by also.Bar attendants are far the best around but don’t expect fancy cocktails or umbrella drinksJust a great night out at a real country friendly bar”
“Came in on a Sunday night and had the Hawaiian burger. It was DELICIOUS and a great value for the price. Soooo we came back again tonight (Monday)for the half price wings. The wings were phenomenal as well and you can’t beat that price! The staff are all super sweet and friendly. Next time I’m in Elkton - I will be back!! Don’t miss this place :). Also- milkshakes!”
“Place was different in the town of Stanley. Gf and I was taking the back roads . Trying out different breakfast areas around the luray area. Cash only. People were nice. Server was nice. Food came out ”
“Great local place! We went for breakfast on our way out of town after a week of vacation at the resort, and it was the perfect ending to a great visit. The food was incredible, the menu has great variety, and everyone was full and happy when we left. Keep up the good work! Our server was very friendly and accommodating to our large group with children, too, always a huge plus when eating out.”
“Passed through on our way to Shenandoah. Did NOT disappoint AND impressed! Best bolognese we’ve had from a restaurant. Pizza was solid, good crust and undercarriage with quality mozzarella on top. Perfectly cooked calamari, lightly breaded and not chewy with a flavor packed sauce. This was our 15th anniversary dinner and we lucked out that it was SO good.”
“Ciros food is always amazing. Friendly, clean atmosphere. Prompt service -and very reasonable prices and great portions! we love ciros and would recommend it to anyone!”
“Service is excellent, as is the food. It's obvious they care about their customers and food quality. Some of the best Mexican food in the Shenandoah Valley.”
“The bartenders are always amazing they're what keeps bringing us back the beer could use some work but the Staffing is phenomenal there's always a smile and they always remember you and is the best dog friendly place to go”
“Great place! Ice cream is delicious & love the non dairy italian ice options! Woman owned business and her co-owner husband is a veteran…will always support this place!!”
“We drive all the way from Virginia Beach just to have this amazing food! And to make the trip worthwhile, grab an Airbnb. From their lunch to their dinner, there's nothing on their menu that isn't delicious. The customer service, the location to Massanutten, the food portions, Romano's is amazing! ?”
“We stopped in and brought the kids with outside food and the kids had a great time with food, checkers and cornhole. A couple days later we stopped off at the ice cream joint that they also run and my daughter spotted the bar and insisted she wanted to head back. Chill bar, lots of fun signed nerd memorabilia on the walls.”
“Too expensive I didn't actually get food I just looked at the menu and I think it's a bit much compared to other places but ur food is probably very good”
“I only go here for breakfast and I always get their topped hash browns. Those are excellent! Atmosphere is lacking and service is subpar but I don't go there for that lol.Parking: There is a limited number of parking spots on the side of the building. There is also street front parking but that is also limited. During the busiest part of the day sometimes you can never find parking spot.Kid-friendliness: They have a couple of high chairs for babies. The place is relatively kid-friendly and do all for a kids menu. It is not an upscale place and it is laid back filled full of farmers and country folk so children are most definitely welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair entrance and a wheelchair accessible ramp. The bathrooms are wheelchair accessible and so are the tables.”
“Great ice cream after a hot day of hiking! There were about 16 flavors to choose from, with cups or cones as options. Reasonably priced as well with some outdoor seating. We didn't try the tea, just the ice cream, but highly recommended!”
“This little "side of the road" pizza/Italian place was "molto bene" (very good)! The atmosphere was very homey and unassuming, while the food was anything but! I got the fries with cheese and a chicken cheesesteak with bacon and mushrooms. The food was not only quick to arrive and piping hot, but absolutely delicious! Once I could actually eat it (remember, hot!) it didn't last long on my plate! The look reminded me of an old soda shop/diner and the staff was just as friendly as they were in days gone by.My only complaint, if you could call it that, was that I felt the prices were on par or maybe even a dollar or 2 higher than I'd find in a major city area, such as Richmon. However, as friendly as the staff was, how tasty the food was and how quick everything was, I'll happily pay that extra few dollars next time I'm out that way!”
“This is a very unique place. It's almost just like a tent with a kitchen but the whole vibe was still pretty chill. The server was very nice and greeted me on my way in. I ordered a build your own burger and salmon burger. Both was absolutely delicious. The build your own burger was seasoned well and I love that they put their name on the bun. Same with the salmon burger which is something I've never had before especially with cbd in it. The real surprise was the fries. Usually in burger places I've been to the fries are usually an after thought but these fries even though I'm pretty sure they were just frozen crinkle fries they were seasoned very generously and were a highlight of the meal. This place definitely deserves a try to solve any burger fix you might have.”
“Very good food, excellent service! Long wait to get in at 4:30, and it was worth it! The decor reminded me of my childhood in Germany in the '60s. Very quaint.”
“A quaint little diner in the main section of downtown Elkton. The food and service were great; but it is the charm of this place that draws you back. It’s like stepping back in time.”
“Tried the new "puffs". Found them very light and fluffy for the crust. Nice helping of sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Great for a much needed afternoon snack!!”
“Love, love, love!! This was an incredible breakfast spot. All food is made fresh and to order. Serving sizes were large and filling. A lot of healthy, vegetarian options. The service was so friendly! I'm so glad we went here vs the large Diner right next door.”
“We like whole wheat sourdough bread very much! I also want to tell that possibility to have fresh baked bread when you want it make me very happy and very thankful!!!”
“This is a wonderful little Pop-Up Ice Cream shop in downtown Shenandoah Virginia. They're open late during the summer, so you can run out as the day cools down. Karens has a wide selection of delicious ice cream, milkshakes, and sundaes. The banana milkshake is thick and creamy and has blended banana chunks in it, which was a delightful surprise! The banana split is large enough for two people to eat it is also a favorite treat.”
