“My wife and I very much enjoyed our recent dinner at Joshua Wilton House. The quality of the cooking is quite high, with both duck breast and filet mignon cooked exactly as requested, and the crab beignet appetizer and the crème brûlée for dessert among the best dishes we have had in ages. Clam chowder and a green salad with gorgonzola and bacon were also outstanding, and a cut above similar dishes elsewhere in the area. Pre-dinner cocktails were well-prepared by the knowledgeable and skilled bartender. The high-ceilinged dining rooms, with white table cloths and comfortable chairs, are lovely as is the intimate bar area. Considering the high quality, the good wines by the glass, and the prix fixe offers available, the prices are reasonable for a special dinner out. Service is friendly and accommodating as well. Even though we live an hour away, we definitely plan to return soon.”

Mostly large tables, so we usually wind up sharing a table with one or two other groups that we don’t know and we make new friends every time. Family atmosphere from young children (early) to us seniors.Large variety of beers from IPA to Lager to infused variety.Food truck with mostly pizza (many toppings) and goes well with the beer!Have outside sitting also with a train or two passing by also.Bar attendants are far the best around but don’t expect fancy cocktails or umbrella drinksJust a great night out at a real country friendly bar”

The good and wait staff is amazing…my only complaint was the bartender on duty..he was EXTREMELY rude to his teammates and made myself and several other guest uncomfortable with his attitude and yelling. I understand it being a long day and the end of dinner service…but his attitude was unfair to his teammates and unprofessional for guests. If I return and he’s working I will be getting takeout”

She was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me decide on a fun new drink to try! I tried the Korean corn dog, it was good. The pork belly buns were super soft and delicious as well. The restaurant is very clean and the staff working were all very bubbly and sweet. Lots of drink and food options and it's a plus that the food isn't crazy expensive.
