My wife and I were driving around Mathews. We like it. It's quaint and quiet. We drove down Main Street and the Mathews Grill and Deli caught our eye. So, we decided to check it out. It was about 5:30ish when we went in and it was not busy at all. We ordered the seafood platter to split, which came with two sides. My wife and I decided to get two side salads as our sides. Also, we got an appetizer: onion rings. Again, we split them, too. I must say the food was very good....
Only get carryout but so far they have never messed up a large order, prices very fair for reasonable portions, no brainer for a quick, simple, inexpensive meal. Not the Michelin option, not priced that way either.
