This casual restaurant serves great pizza, allowing guests to make their own or choose from unusual flavor combinations. The pizza comes sliced in quarters and is very filling, with many toppings. There are also several seafood choices, including lobster rolls, bang bang shrimp, and fried oysters. While the menu variety may have declined, the unique pizzas and good bar make it a great place to dine. A Cobb salad is available, and the Berkeley pizza is highly praised as one of the best. With a nice atmosphere, great service, and delicious desserts like Mississippi Mudcake, Southwind Pizza is highly recommended and well worth a trip. Additionally, the restaurant features outdoor dog-friendly tables and is wheelchair accessible with a ramp at the front.
