Great lunch spot in a small rural town. Friendly people and good food.

What happened? Albaro’s used to be pretty good. Today an ultimate hot dog came with two microwaved hot dogs on a cold huge bun. Fry one hot dog and toast the bun!

Our friends who live in town made the recommendation for take out. It was very good! The portions are generous. My husband got the lasagna, it comes with side salad and bread, he really enjoyed it. I got the calamari as appetizer to share they were tasty too! We recommend, dinner for 6 was $110. and it included 2 apps. We’d go back when visiting for sure.

The first time we went in, we were charged for 3 individual pizzas when we got 2. I thought it was just an oversight by the waitress. She was quick to apologize and rectify it. No harm, no foul. But the second time there, we ordered a large 3 topping with the toppings divided in half. 3 different on one side and 3 on the other. We knew there would be a "little" extra charge, maybe $2 or $3 tops added to the bill for the meager amount added to HALF the pizza (vegetables). But to add $5.00 for a 1/4 cup of frozen broccoli bits is outrageous. Not sure if the owner wants it that way or if it is a way to pad the bill for a higher tip? But, either way it's not ethical or fair so they will be losing yet more customers. Too bad because the pizza is tasty. :(

Take out was good, wing portions are bigger than expected. Prices on the online menu are out of date.

Food was okay. Staff friendly but unknowledgeable.

Just not worth what we paid for it. The bill was 40 dollars different than what it should have been (based off their in-store menu prices). Could not provide an itemized receipt explained each individual charge. A surprise unknown fee was tacked on at the end - couldn’t be explained to us. To be frank, none of these phantom fees were mentioned or brought up.

Paid the bill. Sad when you price gouge the locals as if they aren’t your main customer base. The first and last experience with them, because I usually go to Anna’s and now I see why I’ve been told to avoid Albaro. Simply will not be eating there again.

It's definitely not a gourmet italiano restaurant. I think it's the only one in town....it shows. I thought the poor waitress was alone in the store. She said the owner, his son, and a dishwasher were in the back. Shame on that owner. The food was definitely microwaved. The salad was a day away from turning Brown. The waitress was super sweet and seemed to be doing her best. I'll never Go Back. I don't recommend this as a place to eat. Maybe their pizza is good ?

I love everything I have had. Good pizza, fresh bread and buns, tasty subs and burgers. I would go here anytime. I travel 30 mins to get here and it is worth it every time.
