My brother and I went a few months ago. Was both of our first times trying it. We weren’t impressed at all we went in the early afternoon and they were out of a lot of items. The chicken was extremely dry and hard. I also feel like over $30 for 2 people to eat at a place like this was not resonable, especially considering the quality of the food that day. May give it a try again not sure yet.

Food is good but if Gabe is working you'll always have great fresh food. He looks out for the customer which is hard to come by these days.

The biscuits were so fresh and delicious! Chicken was moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. I loved the Mac and cheese. The apple fried pie was hot and had the flavor of fall.

3.30 dollars for. 3 potato wedge is a total rip off . Small order. Last time I will ever buy anything from Chester's chicken

When we travel this way we stop at Chester's to get chicken. We waited for fresh chicken and potato wedges. It was delicious as usual.
We always stop here on our way back up north from North Carolina. It is actually the one that’s in Virginia when you get on 81 coming from 77 and is always clean. The people are always pleasant and the chicken is always plentiful.

One of the worst locations I've had second to Laredo location. The chicken was obviously fried in old oil. It was over breaded and the biscuit was half cooked. Just below the quality I would expect from Chester's. Ended up just throwing it away. Not worth getting sick over.

Tuesday 6/18 12:15 pm lunch time and 2 out of 3 trays for chicken are empty. Half of the side items trays are also empty. The guy who works here looks like he doesn't want to work here. Three people asked for tenders and waiting. He decided to make legs first. So if you want some chicken, have about an hour extra time for waiting
Mediocre, overpriced.Had the fried chicken sandwich with a small side of mac & cheese. It came on a bun with pickles. Nothing else, no sauce, no nothing. And it was small. $10 bucks for that??
