“Amazing helpful staff.I've gotten so used to all those Indian Subways that don't accept coupons that I've stopped saving the clippings.The portions were plentiful, and I saw someone else ordering with coupons in their hand. When the clerk was about to ring me up, they asked if I had any coupons to apply.I said I didn't bring the paper, but they looked through their system and applied a coupon for me.I'll make the effort to exit 80 every time I pass by.”

It is not a sit down restaurant, but tables and chairs are stacked on the side walls and there are games on each table so you can have something to do while waiting. The food is fresh so it is worth the wait! We asked if we could sit and eat and they said yes.”

“This place is a must-stop if you are driving if you are driving I-81. Conveniently off the highway and a truly beautiful and unique experience. The food is outstanding as is the service. You can get fast food at any stop along the highway but where can you have Grade A BBQ on a picturesque farm on the side of a hill. Do yourself a favor and check it out.”

“This morning's visit to The Grind Coffee Shop in the charming mountain town of Wytheville, VA was delightfully refreshing. The atmosphere was inviting, capturing the quaint essence of its location perfectly. The staff was extremely friendly, adding to the warm, welcoming vibe of the shop.Service was impressively quick, a plus for anyone eager to start their day with a minimal wait. The coffee itself was exceptional; I opted for a 24 oz iced butter pecan coffee with an extra shot of espresso, which was beautifully crafted and intensely flavorful. The homemade thick whipped cream topping truly elevated the entire drink, adding a luxurious touch that I greatly appreciated.However, I feel compelled to give The Grind Coffee Shop four stars out of five due to the limited availability of several menu items, which were either sold out or no longer carried. This did slightly detract from the overall experience, yet it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise lovely visit.I recommend going in with an open mind—you'll likely find yourself pleasantly surprised and thoroughly satisfied. It’s an ideal spot for a peaceful Saturday morning, allowing you to soak in the serene vibes of this picturesque locale while enjoying some seriously good coffee.”

“Chau's is a hidden gem in the town of Wytheville.Not only does she provide great fresh food you are always greeted with a smile and curtesy.We tend to only eat at local restaurants and Chau's is hands down one of the best in the area, highly recommend. Her deserts are great as well!!”

“We stumbled on Mami’s almost by accident traveling through. We didn’t want to eat at the Travel food court and gas station. Mami’s was right next door so we tried it and really enjoyed it. I wish we lived nearby so we could enjoy it more. Empanadas were excellent ent and the price was reasonable.”

“We grabbed breakfast here while staying overnight in Wytheville. We enjoyed a jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese plus a pumpkin (seasonal) bagel with cinnamon cream cheese. Both were fantastic!”

“We used to go to Cracker Barrel all the time. It was our "go to" stop when we traveled. So when we decided to stop, I was a little bit excited. But the food did not live up to my memories. It could be that my memories are just biased. But we were there at lunch and it was busy, so I would not have expected things to be stale or drier than expected. I got the meat loaf, whole corn and mashed potatoes.We will stop again to give it another try, but I was kind of disappointed about this stop.”

“Best waffle house experience. Bathrooms were incredibly clean, the staff were so beyond friendly, and the other customers were just as friendly as the staff. Food was everything I needed it to be and then some.”

“Great German food and beer. Happened to be staying at the Holiday Inn close by and went over for dinner. It was so good. I haven't had that good of a tap German beer since I was a young soldier stationed there.”

“Hats off to the owner greeting and welcoming you at the door - the waitress was at our table within minutes and was very helpful with choosing our menu choices. The food served within a short wait did not disappoint either - the serving size was huge and definitely does not disappoint even the most hungry patron. “Stopped in for a delicious breakfast while my windows were being tinted up the road at Houseman's. The food was very tasty, coffee was topped off and warm without asking for it, the little old lady who runs the place keeps a tidy shop. Good portions and reasonable prices. Would have had no idea it was a restaurant without being told about it. Maybe I missed the sign if there was one outside.”

“Great good! I got the Bacon Chicken Wrap and was really blown away by the flavor and the textures. This might be a "free" Cafe but that doesn't mean the food is substandard. The bacon was crispy, Chicken was juicy, lettuce was fresh, and the tortilla warm. My fries were crispy (I asked for them that way). And the squash casserole was the star of the show. I wish I would have bought a meal of just that. It was fire.”

“I moved here approx. 5 month's ago and started eating ar 7 dogs and I just love the good. The menu has so many delicious options from wonderful burgers including vegetarian, to creole entrees, and the best onion rings I have eaten (and I don't even like onions). I eat there every week. The service is superb. All the wait staff is friendly and quick to bring drinks and foodMichaela is our special server and we just appreciate all her attention. “The service and food here is always excellent.... except for Sundays. This was the first Sunday I visited, and they have a limited menu on Sundays. I was so underwhelmed as opposed to the usual. The food is always the best around, but today, Sunday, they just missed the mark.The steak was flavorless, the alfredo dish was dry, the grilled cheese was hard (the outside of the bun was toasted), the mac and cheese was cold and looked liked boxed mac n cheese, the fries were unsalted and lacked flavor as well.Usually, the food here is so, so, so good. During the week, please visit. It is pricy, but so worth it. Sundays, the price is too high for the quality.”
