Got sugar from next table after coffee got cold, spoon brought 10 minutes later after request at the counter. Waited for breakfast for 20 minutes after ordering, it never came. Therefore, can not comment on food. Avoid the dreaming bearded waiter.

I like the atmosphere for a lunch break chat or even for studying and work session. I like their beans, they are one of the best in the DC area. They also have an application to make ordering more convenient. Lastly, they provide you parking validation service which is a plus.

If you're looking to start your morning off right this is the place to be! They have amazing food and coffee, but the main reason why I enjoy coming here is the friendly and attentive staff. They never fail to greet you with a smile on their face! Come and find out!

be very weary of when they charge your credit card. My daughter went and they ended up charging her 4 charges for one meal and 2 of them were different amounts. The server was telling her that it wasn't working and if you get charged to call. When we called no one picked up and the message told us to leave a message and they'll call back. We left messages but no one responded. We now have to dispute the charges via our cc. Just a major pain and hopefully they're not making a habit of this.
The food is great but the service is terrible. The workers aren’t knowledgeable about any of the items on the menu and the service is super slow.

Stopped in real fast before an appointment because I needed a quick caffeine refuel. I ordered a simple large coffee that was touted to have notes of vanilla and cocoa. The coffee had a great flavor - bold, but not bitter. After trying it black, I chose to indulge and added cream and sugar (I'm usually a black coffee drinker). I was surprised that there wasn't creamer out on the counter, but the barista poured some whole milk in my drink for me. She also offered half and half. The sugar was out on the counter, but it was in an inconvenient area difficult to navigate with the giant croissant I bought. The almond croissant was nice and flakey, but a bit dry. Good for satiating my hunger, but I'd probably try something else next time.
