The best sushi in the dmv by far for the price. The people that run this place are so amazing and kind. The sushi is made out of amazing cuts of fish that are fresh and they are generous with their portions.I’ve eaten at multiple Michelin star sushi restaurants and this sushi rivals that, they really know their sushi. They’ve always been super friendly and accommodating. Treat yourself and support a family owned small business!!

The food is great. Sashimi’s fresh, cut nicely with warm temperature, rice’s good too. Presentation of the good’s nice. However, servers’ are very rude. Passive aggressively rushing you to order and pay. We pick this place to catch up with friend who have not seen for years. But they kept rushing us to pay so we have to leave immediately. Also when asked about the food, the server did not seem to know what’s in the salad. Just overall very poor service you would not expect from restaurant with this price range.

The restaurant was hot and the service was not great for there only being one or two other tables. There was a hair in our sushi so they remade it at least.. didn’t really do anything besides that. The latte was really good. The services was terrible, but the sushi tasted fresh.

Impressive sushi restaurant. Fresh and well prepared. DMV has been lacking to have great sushi. Now we finally have a couple and Cafe ile is one.

First off - the food - the food was amazing. It is by far one of the best Sushi I've had in years at this price range. However I give this place only two stars because of the service. We went there on a Sunday afternoon and this middle-age female staffer, who appeared to be both the hall manager and a server, was extremely ill-mannered. The server was a Korean speaker, and I happen to speak the language too. All throughout my stay, she was very rude to her kitchen staff and sounded even hysterical. I felt bad that I understood Korean and wanted to finish the meal as soon as possible and get out of the place as quickly as possible because I was embarrassed and felt really bad for the other staffers she was talking down to. Who says people go to restaurants only for food, especially to a higher-priced place like this one? I just could not relax at all while I was eating. The server needs to understand the basics of the hospitality business. Sadly, I will not go back to this place again to taste this high quality sushi until I know that she conducts herself more professionally or is no longer with the establishment. Again, a restaurant serves more than just food.

Overall a very good experience. I ordered sashimi deluxe and the fish was really fresh. The presentation of the dish was really pretty too. Really impressed by the quality of their fish. Also the appetizers were good. Just the service was kind of slow because there was only one person taking the order.

Food was okay, ordered sushi combo B and few other things. Sushi was fresh, okay for the price. The service was not good, server made us really uncomfortable since she was rushing us to order food. We didn’t feel comfortable.

A unique cozy, beautiful cafe that is both a cafe and sushi restaurant.EDIT: My longer version of review is on Yelp! It should be at this restaurant's page.

I was excited to hear about Cafe Ile, a Korean-owned and -run sushi restaurant in Tysons, so we decided to come check them out for dinner. Unfortunately, the initial reception we received was not a positive one - when we stepped inside, we were asked if we had reservations or not; the way in which one of the servers asked was extremely off-putting, and whether that was her usual poor delivery or what, it made us feel unwelcomed. Mind you, while there were some tables with a 'reserved' sign on them, from what was observed, they weren't filled the entire time that we were there. We responded that we didn't, and it felt like a whole situation, finally ending up with 'finding' us a table in front of the sushi counter. Honestly, I wanted to walk out. One of the sushi chefs, who seemed friendly and kind, noticed and tried to smooth over the not-so-great interaction by providing an explanation that they usually don't take reservations, but on this particular evening, it seemed as if many were craving for sushi - we thanked him for the side note. We ordered: +one of the Plate Roll Combos - this came with: a California roll, a mound of spicy tuna, shrimp tempura roll, tuna double, and a spicy tuna shrimp tempura combo; there were also some pickled cucumbers and a ginger/wasabi on the side. Definitely a large platter than can be easily shared between 3-4 people and aesthetically well-presented. The place does not kid around in terms of spiciness, so when an item is described as 'spicy', it has a kick! Overall, the flavors were fine, and the freshness was more noticeable here compared to other sushi restaurants in the area; I'm not really a fan of specialty rolls and such, as they tend to contain a higher ratio of rice and drenched in sauces; the rice could have been packed a bit better, as they were more on the 'loose' end and fell apart somewhat easily. I think I would probably stick with their sashimi or nigiri to focus more on the fish if we were to return. We were hoping to order some toro, but were disappointed that it was out, and there wasn't a notification/update of that anywhere. There were 'complimentary' side dishes/apps that were provided as a 'starter': a seaweed salad (a vinegar-marinated seaweed salad; this was tasty and refreshing), edamame (could have been more salted/seasoned), and an ika sansai (boiled squid salad that's marinated in a soy-ponzu sauce; a tasty dish, but the squid was overcooked/too rubbery). There was also a small cup of 'corn soup', which tasted like cornstarch slurry with some kernels of corn, dashed with a sprinkling of ground black pepper. Again, first impressions really left a sour taste - it was funny, since the same server's tone and engagement with specific clientele was a complete 180 from what we had experienced. I'd probably ask for the sushi counter and request a specific server or, to avoid the service altogether, just place a to-go order. The parking spots around the building are marked, but apparently they have designated spots and free parking in the building garage. +friendly sushi chef +poor service/hospitality +labeled spots/garage parking +reservations seems to be highly recommended/required

What a gem and such cozy beautiful space nestled in hubbubs of Tyson's Corner. We had an amazing Sashimi combo A and B. Don't let the word 'combo' make you think this is a budget meal. This was the most beautifully and deliciously curated plate. It was as if food art has arrived and each sashimi piece was fresh, distinct and tasty in its own way. I love that they included little boba fruity pops on the side as a pallet cleanser. We didn't get a chance to try their coffees but I would love to try! It's a cafe nlwithin a beautiful restaurant. It is unpretentious, clean and the service is matching its good and vibes.

I waited until my third visit to share my review. We explored six different sushi places over the past couple of months, and Cafe Ile stood out as the best in terms of service and food quality in the Tysons Corner area. Every take out order includes a delicious seaweed salad and edamame. I appreciate the attention to decorating, even for takeout orders. This is place for real foodies, believe me, you will appreciate rice texture and salmon belly which melts in your mouth.
