Best donuts I’ve been able to find in the DMV. I feel like most donuts are just trendy and have horrible dough and flavors but curiosity donuts are fantastic. The dough is moist and soft and doesn’t try out - honestly the donuts last 1-2 days which is so rare for donuts. The flavors are also great and they have creative combinations. The fruit flavored donuts are consistently good and the icing always stands out.

My favorite donuts in NoVA -- been coming here for about a year. I love the unique selection and every time I come there's at least one new donut type to try. I always tell them to give me the rundown of the day's selection of 20-some donuts and it's so hard to choose half a dozen! Flavors range from rich to fruity, and they can get very unique. In the couple of times I've been here, I've tried donuts with yuzu, passion fruit, chai, matcha, earl gray, fig flavors, honeycomb, and more. My favorite donut type is the sour dough base and angel pillows. Come during the earlier half of the day because they sell until they run out! Sometimes I've come as early as 2:00 in the afternoon and they're already sold out.

Legit! They have arguably some of the best donuts I've had. Yes, they are a little pricey, but worth every penny. They do very unique flavors and use a variety of batter to make different styles (cake, cronut texture, etc.). Rule of thumb is to get here well before noon so the stock is full. Only downside is nothing is labeled so you have to pay attention as the employee goes through the list of offerings. Kinda feel bad that they have to repeat these over and over. Excellent quality!

To be honest, this was probably the second best doughnut I've ever had. And I have had a lot of doughnut in my lifetime. The texture is unique and unmatched. This is actually the second weekend in a row I drove 30 min to get this doughnuts. There are so many flavors and they continue to switch it up. Highly recommend.

$14 for a box of 4 donuts??!! It wasn't worth the time and money. This is way overpriced. Id rather go to Dunkin Donuts. You can't even compare this to Texas Donuts and Duck Donuts.

I’m so disappointed in the donuts I bought today I bought 3 from the counter and 1 prepackaged box from the shelf and they all tasted like old grease.I live 45 mins away and drove just to get these donuts because they are usually really good. But all of them were a waste of money. I took a bite of each of them, hoping it was just a certain batch but nope all of them!

This place is pretty legit. There's plenty of fancy donut places out there with unique flavors, but the actual donut quality is top notch here, which I find is often not the case with other places. Their donuts are also unique, straying from your typical yeast or cake textures and instead featuring an almost crispy exterior and light and flaky innards, with plenty of flavors. If they'd just label their flavors on display they'd be pretty close to perfect.

Found this place in Yelp. And was so impressed by their flavor offerings. Bought half a dozen and dug in as soon as i got into the car. Ok. So I bit into a crueler and OMG it was so good I went back in and bought 4 more!! I definitely got ? wasted?. I'll def be back for more!!

Best vegan donuts I’ve had. Nice golden brown crust, soft light texture and flavorful glaze. Not too big or doughy. My partner had a non-vegan one too and said it’s not as good! Wish they had more in stock cuz the vegan ones sold out early around 11am.

Literally the best doughnuts I’ve ever had, by far. Incredible variety of flavors and types. My favorites tend to be the fruit flavors with passion fruit icing/toppings or passion fruit flavored dough being my absolute favorites.Honest to goodness, I used to dislike doughnuts before finding Curiosity Doughnuts. Now my husband and I make special trips to Whole Foods to buy the 4 donut variety box on our way home from work several times per month. Absolutely fantastic.

The donuts here are mediocre and overpriced. $3 a donut seems a little too expensive in my opinion. I went to this shop inside of Whole Foods and was excited to try the different flavors they had to offer. I decided on a half dozen so I could try a variety in order to give an honest review. The flavors I tried were: Bread pudding (cake), chai (cake), apple pie (cake), marbled (cronut), chocolate with chocolate glaze (cronut), and cookies and cream (cronut). The better of the donuts was either the cookies and cream or the marble with plain glaze. The bread pudding needs to be remove from their menu, the texture was mushy from being soaked and had very little flavor. The apple pie was okay, but I was expecting more of a true apple pie filling flavor but it actually had a quite sour green apple taste. Chai had a very unique clove taste which I personally was not a huge fan of, but could see it being liked by others who are clove fans. The chocolate donuts that were cronut-like were more eggy in taste but had a light texture. All in all, I would not come here again. The donuts didn’t have a lot of flavor, and those that did were very odd in taste. On top of it, $18 for 6 donuts is unreasonable.

The crueler doughnuts are superb! We tried mango, chocolate, vanilla and regular and they are soft and sweet and delicious.

This place beats Sugar Shack. This place beats duck. Easily one of the best places to score some awesome doughnuts. The cruller doughnut is a real treat and is very easy to recommend for anyone looking for something that's a change of pace from your regular yeasted doughnut
