I ordered a bubble tea from the kiosk and it was TERRIBLE. I ordered oolong tea with lychee popping bubbles and I was met with stale crystal bubbles and rancid oolong black tea. Literally the worst bubble tea experience I've ever had.

The service here is pretty good, but I feel like they could do a better job of keeping the tables clean, because it is very hard to find a clean table here. Oolong tea is good, but does feel a little more watery and sweet rather than more of a brewed flavor. Same with the milk tea. However, I do feel like the watery flavor resonates better with their fruit teas, including their Princess Peach collection teas that they just released.

The reason why come here is for the slushes, been coming multiple times at this location and waited in line for over 15 mins each time just to be told that they don't make slushes for any reason, this times I waited in line and when it was finally my turn the young lady in register told me they unable to make them because they are short staffed and it takes them a long time to make them. I expressed my concern that I had this situation happen before. I understand they are short staffed but there should be sign telling customers that certain drinks are not prepared when they are short staffed so that customers don't have to wait and waste their time in line, specially for that long. I will never be coming back to this location and will be telling my friends about this horrible experience. 0/10 for sure.

Absolutely terrible customer service and not great boba. Outrageous prices! Before I could even order I had to wait 15 minutes which I was ok about and just stood there. The girl taking my order wasn't paying attention and was goofing off with co workers as she talked and yelled jokes with her co worker so much that she was spitting into the bowl of boba as she spoke which was sitting precariously on the edge. No gloves. No Masks. Drinks took forever! One girl was hiding in the back. And one of the people making drinks stopped half way to play games on his phone. When I asked when my drink would be ready after waiting another 20 min. He looked up and scoffed and said please be patient and went back to his phone. I would usually never ask but I had to as it had been 20 min and only one order was before me plus he was playing on his phone. When I got my boba I didn't even get what I asked for. By then I was so irritated I just took it and left. I don't know what happened to the old KFT but it's just gone down hill.

The Kung Fu Tea at Tysons Mall has friendly staff with lots of flavor options. I highly recommend this

I ordered boba using the app, but it doesn’t tell u which one is sold out and proceeds to payment. You will only found out that it was sold out until u ask the staff about ur order. Once they remind you that it is sold out, they’ll make alternative orders, but it was literally cheaper than what I’ve ordered. The drink is fine but they really need to work on the app

Took forever and I saw one of the workers use her hand to push extra ice off the top of one of the drinks. They didn't give me a number so I had no way to know when my drink was ready, but it turns out they had left it sitting behind the counter and would not have put it out if I didn't ask. Also it was $7 for very sub par Boba tea!

I have been wanting to try Kung Fu tea since moving here, but today was clearly not a good day for it. I downloaded the app, thinking the app was connected to the store, but it evidently is not. In other words, the app will accept orders regardless of what the location can offer (or in my case, cannot offer). What this means is that you can order whatever you want, pay for it, and then 1) not get what you want 2) not be compensated for what you paid for. Now, I don't blame the employees because they clearly don't have the authority to give any coupons or credits etc. they really should work on their management structure and the authority they can give. This would significantly improve customer service. Instead, I have employees who aren't sure how to give a refund, can't really offer you anything for next time, are very apologetic and trying very hard to keep it together by closing down the whole system and sending customer to the other location. But then what? It's really a managerial issue. I mean I'm happy the ingredients are so fresh because you're constantly running out but maybe you should try delegating some authority to your teenage employees? Promote a few people? Do something? Quite disappointed in missing out on my addons. A boba place running out of boba is very sad. Then when we replaced my crystal boba for grape popping boba it was mango instead (we don't like mango apparently). The non-kiosk location has decent seating and is quite comfortable. The kiosk is very hard to find IMO and also not very comfortable with no drinking areas or even a clear pickup location. Until they reform this I'm not sure I'll be back.

I realize that it's tough to find staff these days, and many shops have to hire teenagers who aren't very motivated. I've seen this at many stores in the Tyson's area, but I was pretty stunned when I was picking up a take-out order earlier tonight.Three bubble teas. They were ready behind the pick-up counter, which was staffed by a girl who was busy measuring ingredients. She finds my three teas and puts them in front of me. After five seconds of silence, expecting something more, I ask if she had a bag. Ten seconds later, she asks a colleague to help bag the teas. I get the bag of teas, but without straws. Apparently, that is self service too. BUT the reason why I am giving one star is because the plastic wrap lids were not sealed properly, and the tea leaked/spilled into the bag. HOW is this even possible?

To Kung Fu Tea Owner,The drink is good but the honey boba was not chewy like other boba restaurants. Other than the boba not being chewy enough, everything else was good. Next time I come there the boba better be chewy.

Was feeling a bit burnt out from work and was looking forward to a boba drink. But I was disappointed. I don't know what is going on with all the KFTs here in Northern VA, but the quality is not where it's used to be. I don't know if it's the shift lead or the quality control of drinks and toppings but the boba was very hard and sometimes not enough ice.
