I'm Lebanese & grew up eating homemade Lebanese food, and this was the best I've ever had at a restaurant... authentic & delicious!! And the selection of Lebanese wines was second to none!! I highly recommend this one!!!
We brought our niece for our first visit to Lebanese Taverna and thoroughly enjoyed! Mariam was knowledgeable, warm and made us feel so welcome. We will be back and thank you!
My family and I came to Lebanese Taverna on January 1, 2024, and had the pleasure of being served by Mays she was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I came back, and by coincidence, Mays was our waitress again. Her warm hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail made our experience just as special as the first time.
The food is always delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavor, but it’s Mays’ amazing service that truly makes this place shine. We’ll definitely keep coming back for both the food and her exceptional hospitality.

My dining experience was amazing. Walked into the restaurant and was seated immediately. The service and food was impeccable.
Lebanese Taverna Tysons remains a quietly reliable standout in Northern Virginia's dining scene. The “Taste of Lebanon” chef's platter ($18) is the kind of dish that could anchor a meal on its own: hommus, baba ghanoush, tabouleh, grape leaf, falafel, chicken samosa, kibbeh, m'saka, and artichokes arrive as a generous, thoughtfully composed spread. Each element is well-seasoned and distinct, and the warm pita is so good it practically demands that every last smear and drizzle be wiped from the plate. The kitchen's confidence carries through to the shawarma—beef and lamb roasted on a vertical rotisserie, hand carved, and paired with tomatoes, pickled onions, and tahini. It's tender, deeply flavored, and among the better versions you'll find outside the Middle East. The fact that all the meats are certified halal will be a welcome detail for many diners, but it's the flavor that ultimately makes the case. I've eaten at many Lebanese Taverna locations over the past two decades, and what distinguishes the brand is its consistency: the food is superb more often than not, the experience dependable without feeling routine. At Tysons, it's an easy choice for everything from a casual dinner to a large gathering—especially on Mondays, when the prospect of unlimited mezzas makes the table feel even more abundant.
For $30 (before tax and tip), I got a single skewer of cold, tough lamb . . . and the service was horrible. This place is overrated, to say the least. Any given kabob place in a strip mall would have been a better choice.

As always Lebanese Taverna is a nice and spacious location for dining. The food and service is always top class. We love eating there.
Food was good specially Humus and Baba Ganoush. McCallan single malt neat was served with ice but was corrected later on. Margarita drink could have been stronger and served in margarita glass, not regular glass.
Used to go here every weekend, but first time back here in a while. I guess this what a $16 Manhattan gets you here now. When I asked the hostess, she said this the normal LT pour. 🤷

Restaurant was very loud. Hard to handle a conversation. The hostess did warn us about the nose and in advance moved us to a place that would be quieter but it was still noisy. Server did not understand English well enough to accommodate diners and their requests. She also had to be reminded to refill water glasses.
So here is why I am giving them
Two stars. I got to be truthful here . Their food is the best I have tried , seriously
It’s 5 stars . Their service is bad . I am getting married and I wanted to reserve a table / room for 15-16 people , called them many times , their manager dropped me a voice message and I called her 3 times , no response , dropped in a message , no response , called again and just hopeless . So that’s my review , the food is 5 stars , service is bad
