Chicken and kubideh had good flavor. Barg had no flavor and tasted steamed. Changeh also did not have much flavor and did not taste like it was grilled. The setup was like a fast food restaurant but they had a tip being added at the cash register. Not sure what the tip is for when we are picking up take out.

Not recommending resturant this location..... 😡😡😡 I had the worst experience at MaMa Joon's this location. We were there at 11:30pm. I paid almost $30 for lamb chunks and Beef ground But when we came home its was beef chunks and chicken. I didn't get what I paid for. When I bring the food home taste horrible rice was old and meat was under cooked. Not recommending this location. 😡😡😡

We had an amazing experience at Maman Joon Kitchen! The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. What really stood out was the incredible service. We came in around 1 AM, and manager went above and beyond to help us with everything. Special thanks to Pooya for being so kind, professional, and welcoming even that late at night. we’ll definitely be coming back!

Momonjun's a gem! Orme Sabzi and the kebabs are legit amazing-tender, flavorful, packed with spice. Very good generous portions, never skimpy. The staff are super friendly, make you feel right at home. Quality's top-notch, fresh ingredients every time. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Persian food. Five stars!

Don’t judge this place by the no-frills, fast food appearance—the food itself is superb. I tried the Persian soup (Ash Reshteh) and hummus, and thought the flavors were impeccable! And the prices are more than reasonable, probably even lower than what they could charge given the quality of the food. High marks for service and cleanliness, as well. My only small complaint was that the pita was not prepared well at all, but maybe we went on a bad bread day.
The staff at Mama Joon in McLean is truly amazing! Hamed was especially helpful when I was late for my pickup. When he realized they were out of the green sauce I requested, he didn't hesitate to make a fresh batch just for me. While I waited, they even brought me a salad to enjoy. Hamed's kindness and the staff's generosity made for a fantastic experience. I highly recommend them!

I went to this restaurant, placed my order for pickup, and made it very clear what I needed. Somehow, they still managed to completely mess it up. By the time I got home, I realized the food was wrong and nothing like what I had asked for. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend time and money here only to be disappointed. If a restaurant can’t get a simple pickup order right, it says a lot about their attention to detail and customer care. Definitely not coming back. When I called back manager, said nothing they can do about it.
