Do not waste your time at this place. Food is horrible & crazy overpriced! From all the mariscos places I’ve tried in the dmv this is by far the worst. Food has no seasoning. & it’s literally FROZEN seafood you can taste it just from the first bite. Also seems like it’s very old fishy tasting seafood

1 Dozen Ostiones El Malecon were Delicious. I decided to take the remaining items I ordered and go watch football at home. I anticipated enjoying the jalapeno poppers, Guacamole seafood, and the Tacos Pesado. Upon arriving home I found each item was totally destroyed because of improper packaging. Sauces didn't have lids on them, and the containers used for each food item were twice the size needed (half pan trays were used). I had to trash the food because it was inedible.

I don’t always leave reviews, even when the food is good, but this place truly deserved one. I came here because I love seafood and wanted to try something new, and it exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Javier, was beyond helpful, friendly, and attentive—he made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I left already planning my next visit. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great seafood!

Excellent and fast service! I got the burrito stuffed with chicken, chorizo, rice and beans topped with cheese dip, which was delicious and plentiful. Our appetizer - chorizo dip - was great, too. The service was top tier; our waitress made sure we had everything we needed and didn't forget a single thing. Overall, I will return.

Food was good. Pricing on a lot of their plates were non existing. Margaritas were weak but good flavor. Food all in all was good. Tables were very small so had a hard time fitting plates. Place got very smoky. Service was good. I plan to go again
A Truly Disappointing Seafood Experience I visited this place last night around 10:30 PM with a friend, drawn by the promise of seafood and the fact that it was open late. Unfortunately, what followed was a series of significant disappointments. I began with 12 oysters, but the strong, unpleasant odor and taste made it impossible to eat more than four. I even had to spit one out. To make matters worse, my friend's food order was repeatedly forgotten by the waiter. After two reorders and a significant wait, he finally gave up on eating, as his food simply never materialized. My replacement dish, a second attempt at ordering something edible, was also a complete letdown. The seafood tasted dirty and off, regardless of the seasoning. Having grown up in a tropical city with a deep appreciation for fresh seafood, I can confidently say the quality here was shockingly poor. Despite the terrible experience, we paid our bill in full and even left a tip. However, I strongly advise against dining here, particularly if you're looking for quality seafood. This was, without a doubt, my worst seafood experience ever.

Horrible, said they had no cheese so I got my food taken back and ordered something else. They in fact had cheese. My second order had cheese. The food was bland and had no taste, plates were hotter than the actual food itself. Not to mention, the drinks had too much sugar and were warm so the ice melted quickly. The Carne Asada was too hard to CUT apart. Best part of my food was the salad. Not satisfied.

The food was enjoyable overall, with the exception of the red snapper, which was unfortunately overcooked. When we brought this to the manager’s attention, she mentioned she would see what she could do. However, the resolution—removing only $5 from a $35 dish—felt inadequate, especially given that we expressed our dissatisfaction. When we addressed this further, we were told that because we had tried the dish, it essentially counted as having eaten it.
While the service was decent and the restaurant has many great reviews, I was disappointed with how the manager handled our concern. Considering we ordered two appetizers, drinks, and entrées, I believe comping the dish would have been a more appropriate gesture and would not have significantly impacted their bottom line. It left us feeling undervalued as customers.
