Ordered takeout from this place. Food was overpriced for the taste, which was nothing special. We also ordered a bread basket which was advertised as having different kinds of naan, but only got regular naan. On the whole, given all the other south Asian restaurants in the area, it's unlikely we'll order from here again.

I ordered takeout from Masala and was pleasantly surprised. The food was ready quickly and arrived in a timely manner. The samosas were large, perfectly fried, and generously stuffed with filling. The green cilantro chutney was fresh and bright, adding a nice pop of flavor to the dish.
I also got the chicken tikka masala, which was rich and comforting. I usually prefer spicier foods, and this one leaned mild and more on the tomato-forward side, but it was still very good. I especially enjoyed dipping my garlic naan into the sauce.
I’ve also tried the samosa chaat, which I recommend pairing with the darker tamarind chutney.

Saw this place randomly driving and went in for a quick Sunday lunch. Food is not so great. It’s just okay at best. Even if you get tasty food with less varieties I think I can be happy with it but this just is not good. The chicken meatballs were salty, the lamb curry was chewy, and I think they don’t know what chole bature is. I found some triangle shaped bature like things and it’s just not at all what I imagined it to be.

Saw the place advertised on DCSpot in a video and a friend and I went to try it. They have a $17 dollar lunch buffet and it won't dispoint. Very fresh, flavorful, and nothing tasted old. It was great.
There's a reason this place is always empty, bad food, taking way too long, bad service. Avoid this place.

The lunch buffet for $17.99 was such a great deal. I thought half of the dishes were pretty good, but the other half were normal. I’m interested in trying their regular menu items.

The shrimp sizzler, which is grilled shrimp in seasoning, was EXCELLENT. So flavorful, and also low carb.

Best Indian food I've had in Northern Virginia. Very quality proteins and excellent garlic naan and curries. The chicken Tikka masala is super quality white meat which I love.

Great food and friendly service. Loved it!
This is a very reliable go-to for Indian/Nepalese food in McLean. I’d come again. The flavour is punchy, the naan is a highlight, and the service is friendly. If you’re after a super trendy lounge vibe you might find it modest, but for food and value it delivers.
Loved the buffet and dumplings. will come again!!!
