A cool little (very small) ramen shop. Came in to avoid rush hour and so glad I did.

The employee when I visited was just so incredibly kind and polite.

The ramen was delicious, and interesting too (don't think I've ever had ramen with beef instead of pork) and the serving size is sneaky filling. Some of the best ramen I've had in the greater NOVA area.

Prices are a little high but quality definitely makes it easier to accept. The decor inside is definitely interesting, a mix of traditional ramen shop and anime.

Of note, the bathroom is also pretty cool, worth checking out tbh.

Parking: They have 4 parking spots in front otherwise it's street parking

Out of quite a handful of Ramen places I've been to around in the area, this is the best quality Ramen I've had. Staff was great and friendly, food was incredible.

First visit and tried the torigara ramen for lunch! The noodles were bouncy and chewy, and the torigara broth was light and creamy. I really enjoyed it since I didn't want anything too heavy! Small ramen shop, and cozy inside with jpop music playing while I was there. They have an outdoor patio where a lot of people seem to sit when the weather is nice. Service was efficient and staff was sweet! It really reminded me of when I visited Japan. Thanks so much and will definitely be back!! The parking is a little tight but there's street parking and a parking garage available nearby too.

Beer selection was small but featured Japanese craft, noodles and broth were also solid.

This is the best ramen spot in DMV area after trying dozens of so called ramen restaurants. Corn rib is a fire, better than American restaurants. Fried squid also amazing, can’t believe taste better than Italian restaurants. Classic ramen includes 3 slices of thick pork belly, omg, you have no idea how generous portion it is. Best ramen I’ve tried over the past 6 years after move to east coast.

Excellent local ramen spot. So far the best I have tried in the area. The restaurant is small and cosy. Service is excellent. Prices are about what you would expect for McLean area. Would recommend!

Easily the best ramen in the DC/northern Virginia area, and it's not even close.

I spent a month in Sapporo eating at Ramen Alley almost daily, and Otosan really impressed me. The pork kakuni is torched to perfection, the bamboo shoots are super fresh, and I even got slices of black garlic in my bowl!

Ramen afficionados, this place needs to be on your radar. I have a feeling the Thai flavors on the menu are also top notch so I plan to come back soon!

I just did take out. Got the green chicken curry ramen. It was part of the ‘Bangkok tour’ menu. It was awesome! The host was very welcoming and hospitable! The restaurant is also super cute so I’ll be dining in in the near future

McLean has needed some fresh new takes in the food space for a while now. There are a lot of places in town that I feel are only able to stick around because people have been going to them for 20 years and still do. Otosan is not one of those places. They have a solid ramen offering for the Northern Virginia area.

Service was very friendly and the food was great. It seems that either the company that processes their credit card transactions also dips into the tips - not sure - but they did mention that they were very appreciative of cash tips so that they're not garnished (it was not in a rude way at all, very polite!)

I will be back when I visit McLean to see family. Wishing them the best!

This place looks decent on the surface but service is horrible! I walked in and there were rats running around side of the building!!! Turned around and left! Don't waste your time and money here!
