We were there for Sunday brunch. The excellent good was surpassed only by the attentive, friendly service. The cocktails were amazing. Calamari with mushrooms—who’d have thought? The dish was outstanding!! The beautiful patio was like being on vacation. Can’t wait to go back.

Pokoteo is a hidden gem! From the moment my family and I walked in, we were welcomed like old friends. The owner is so warm and genuinely passionate about sharing authentic Puerto Rican flavors—you can taste the love and tradition in every bite.
Our server (I’m so sorry I forgot her name!) was absolutely wonderful—kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. She guided us through the menu with great recommendations, and everything we tried was bursting with flavor.
Pokoteo is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience full of warmth, culture, and incredible food. My family and I can’t wait to come back!
The food is delicious, the atmosphere is adorable, the server was lovely. I only wish they had more than one vegetarian entree. But vegetarians can make a great meal of apps and sides. I recommend putting the ajili mojili salsa on eeeeeverything. Yummmm.

The grilled octopus was perfectly tender and exceptionally flavorful. I have never experienced Eggplant Parmesan of such outstanding quality. The dessert flan was rich, smooth, and truly exquisite. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, and the staff provided impeccable service.

I highly recommend! The atmosphere, lovely and fun, inside and out. Even though it was hot enough to fry an egg on the pavement today, I noted that they had heaters outside for cooler times of the year. The service, 100/10, the food, 1000/10. We ate all the things today to include the empanadas, the calamari , the smoked 1/2 chicken, the chicken wings, the asopao de mariscos, and various sides. Everything that was supposed to be crisp was, everything that was supposed to be succulent and juicy was (like that smoked chicken!), and I had the best mojito of my life. The staff was so friendly and kind! 10/10, would recommend and can't wait to return!

Really enjoy the ambiance here and the owner- he's great. Also really enjoy the ceviche and mojito. Got to say my bbq dish I got last time was a little under seasoned and a bit dry, but we liked the other food. Also would really love longer hours - 8?! So early.
