The bald receptionist has been really disrespectful and comes across with an unfriendly attitude. It makes people feel uncomfortable when they walk in. I honestly think he needs to change the way he interacts with clients and show more respect — otherwise, it might be better to have someone else in that position.

It doesn't matter how small the location or where it is, every Pulcinella I go to we have the best experience and the best food. Thank you to everyone one who makes the guests feel so welcome, to the managers who treat their fellow employees so kindly and the servers who fulfill every request as if it were their only task. An $11 cappuccino is not worth returning !!

I actually liked this restaurant. First time we ate there food was good and service was warm and friendly . I live in the neighborhood and hoped to make this a go to restaurant.

Unfortunately, that experience soured. On Sunday I stopped by to get a cappuccino to go and asked for an extra shot of espresso.
I was presented with a bill of $11 dollars!!
I have never been charged so much for an espresso in my life ! Usually an additional shot costs may be $2 extra.
I didn’t argue, just paid and left. But management should consider that this kind of pricing turns your clients off…

Really elevated Italian cuisine right here in McLean. Reasonable prices. Excellent service.

Finally visited Pulcinella after friends recommended it. Wow! What a fantastic experience! Great customer service, excellent food, and a convivial atmosphere. And of course, the pizzas are amazing — crust just the right thickness, perfectly crispy, and flavorful through to the last bite. We also had a spaghetti carbonara with perfectly creamy sauce and pasta cooked exactly right. Highly recommend!

This is hands down the BEST pizza in McLean — maybe in all of Fairfax and Arlington! Pulcinella fires up their pies in a real coal oven, which means that perfectly crisp, thin crust with every bite. No heavy, bloated feeling here — they only use top-quality cheese and the freshest ingredients.

But what really makes Pulcinella special? The two brother owners, working side by side every single day, pouring their heart into every pizza. The vibe is cozy and intimate — perfect for date night or catching up with friends.

Pulcinella isn’t just good — it’s a hidden gem and easily one of the best spots in McLean!

Yes I'm long time MacLean resident since 1988 and I have to tell you this restaurant it's one of the best in Northern Virginia it is historic icon for our community say buy only fresh ingredients using the classic Italian recipes anything the center of the downtown McLean

I want to like this place. First time pizza areived soggy and box was full of spilled liquid. Doordash offered 5$ credit. Second time pizza was clearly old and cold. Again doordash offered 5$. There won’t be a third time.

It's an Italian restaurant and It's a gem. It's famous for its deliciouspizza but other dishes are also amazing. Also excellent customer service.
