I’ve had two recent visits to this Starbucks, and unfortunately both experiences were negative.
Both times I visited at night when there were no other customers, yet my drink was not made for quite a while. The baristas did not begin preparing my order until I was standing at the counter, clearly waiting. Only then did they start making the drink.
When my drink was handed to me, there was no greeting at all—no “enjoy,” no “have a good one.” The cup was simply pushed toward me without a word. On both visits, the lid was not properly secured, and I almost spilled my drink as a result.
Starbucks often emphasizes hospitality and customer experience, but I did not feel any sense of hospitality or professionalism here. These were simple issues that could have been easily avoided with basic attention and courtesy.
Given that this happened twice in a row, I’m very disappointed and hesitant to return.

The frappuccinos and hot chocolates here are good. The service is fast, even on busy days. The refreshing drinks here are very good, especially after a run. I have not had any food here, so I can't say anything about that. It is a bit dirty, but that is it.

Every time I come in Taylor has my coffee already poured! It amazes me how she can remember the name and orders of the regulars that come in around the same time I do. The attention to detail is outstanding, even through the crazy rushes she will take the time to connect one on one with customers like how she will always ask about my wife and kids! We love her and McLean Starbucks!

Hannah is the best barista out there. I go to Starbucks many times a week and the drinks HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS GOOD. Hannah doesn’t deserve a raise. She NEEDS a raise. She is truly THE BEST barista.

Waited 30 minutes for an iced americano, employees said they had only one bar working. Total mess. Don’t know what kind of management allows this store operation in such poor conditions. Baristas seemed extremely overwhelmed with the situation. Also this is not the first this has happened at this location.
Excellent customer service! The manager/an employee helped me receive a sizable discount on an item I was trying to buy with stars today. This location is always reliable and clearly cares a lot about their customers! Maybe the seating area could be a bit bigger, but the experience is still enjoyable nonetheless.

there are bugs on the back wall and ceiling of this starbucks, it is very gross honestly. like of course to an extent every bar has flies... but this is giving infested. i can only imagine how the floors look. and they are flying everywhere too.. can't be good. my drink tasted fine i just got a refresher, and the sandwich i got was a little overcooked. was not greeted by anyone in the staff, nobody looks happy 😭
