I visited my friend during lunch, who works upstairs. I had already ate my lunch but didn't want to sit there awkwardly so she recommended the bakery downstairs. I got a blueberry muffin, and it was really good. I'm a picky muffin eater so I wasn't expecting much. The sugar crust was crunchy and sweet, paired well with the muffin cake. The cupcake was filled with a lot of blueberries, they definitely do not skimp out! I noticed they had a lot of different dessert options and also serve coffee/lattes along with lunch items. If and when I visit my friend again, I'll have to visit Sweetbites as well.

The workers here are always so cheerful and helpful, They love making small talk to connect with their customers and I love that. Today I got their Jumbo All Beef Hotdog , it's served with sauerkraut, diced raw white onion, relish, hot mustard and your choice of condiments (I usually go for all mayo, ketchup, regular mustard = the works)! -Their hot dog is grilled in a hot panini press, served with their cold refreshing toppings. I also got a piece of their quiche for a snack later on. They offer ham and cheese quiche or a spinach veggie quiche. They offer to warm it up for you or you can have it cold, to warm up later whenever you're ready to eat. I haven't had a disappointing menu item yet, I definitely recommend this business!

Not a large space so don't plan on spending all day there, BUT the staff and folks are super friendly and helpful. Definitely get that local mom and pop vibe.As for the food, I had a vanilla chai latte with almond milk, the lemon bar, the everything bagel, and the apple galette. The latte was solid. The lemon bar was SUPERB. The owner noted that it's not for everyone since it's not as sweet as other lemon bars. Let me tell you - this is the level of sweetness that it should be at. It was the perfect amount of sweet, tart, and a microdose of bitterness. Great combination and highly recommended for folks who enjoy a REAL lemon tasting lemon bar. The apple galette was tasty as well - the only thing I regret is not asking to have it toasted. The bagel was probably one of the best in the area (although technically they're "imported" from Long Island). Despite going against the owner's instructions (she had my best interests in mind and I could see her wince when I mentioned that I was going to have it the next day), the bagel turned out great the next morning. I kept it in a sealed ziploc overnight so it didn't dry out too much and popped it into the air fryer/toaster in the AM for a light toast. All I did was add some cream cheese and my first bite brought memories of the tristate back all over again. One thing to note is that it's not crazy heavy on the 'Everything' which means that the flavors are there, but the salt is not. This is a good thing if you plan on using salted butter or plan on adding other things like lox - or if you're trying to cut down on salts :)Overall, a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick bagel fix. I'll have to try their pastrami or their hot dog next time. The aromas of those while I was there made my mouth water. To the owners - THANK YOU for letting me hang out there and it was a pleasure meeting you!Dietary restrictions: There are alternative milks

We love Sweetbites Cafe and Bakery because every week they have new, delicious bakery treats. We can count on them to have our steady favorites, but it is the new and unexpected that keeps us coming back. The product is beautifully displayed and the quality is consistently high. We recently tried their pumpkin pie with whipped cream detail and found it delicious. We brought pieces to our daughter and her family and they liked it so much we are adding it to our "to be ordered" list for Thanksgiving. The staff is friendly and all are accomplished baristas. The owner is conscientious and committed to providing high-quality service and products.
