Have had several exceptional dining experiences that were memorable. Wait staffing service and food selections also a plus. Only negative comment that needs addressing is the pesty flies that circulate around the windows, dining table, and especially landing on your food. Becomes very annoying and questionale why management has yet to address it? Overall, a positive review nonetheless for others to try and enjoy dining there.
Small glitch on determining our server, but John did an exceptional job working it out and seeing that we had great service and food throughout the evening. The food was delicious! Small but varied menu with nice selection of dishes, appetizers and sides.
Everything about Leatherflower is first rate. The dining room is beautiful with views from the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains through large windows. The feeling is homey elegance and the service is friendly and helpful. The food is fabulous--lots of good starters, entrees, desserts to choose from and a kitchen willing to make accommodations for gluten-free and vegetarian dinners. We've returned 5 times in the past 4 months.
