We had a very nice Tuesday night dinner. The pre-meal hush puppies were excellent! For dinner, large portions of catfish and shrimp.They were out of flounder and have had to add a surcharge to the scallops. Both were announced upfront.

Our experience started with our excellent server, Victoria. This was our first visit and she was very knowledgeable of the menu and made recommendations that we took. The soup was TO DIE FOR. A dash of hot sauce, as she recommended, made it awesome. Our entrees were delicious. And she kept our glasses full…. Even if it was just water. We are not from anywhere remotely close to here, but if we ever make it back up this way, we will visit again. Thank you!

We had our Valentines Dinner there last night. I was very disappointed. My broiled scallops had no taste and looked like it may have been boiled in butter and water.Potatoes were undercooked and she crab soup was watered down. The hush puppies were still good.

Best seafood meal we have had in a couple of years. This is out of our way, but our regular seafood place near home closed due to COVID. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Calabash Seafood in Mechanicsville. Amazing staff. The service was top notch.

Great good and very friendly and attentive staff!! We went to calabash for the first time on Friday 1/28/22 for my birthday and we will definitely be going back! All of the food was cooked perfectly and drinks were refreshed as soon as they were getting low. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

There was no fresh crab so the crab cake was from a can. There should have been a discount. My family and I were very disappointed with our meal. We will not go back.

Calabash is the best seafood restaurant in town. They’ve updated the interior decor since I have last eaten there. Since I moved back to Mechanicsville, I wanted to visit. I had the crab cakes and they were delicious! My friend got shrimp scampi which really needed more garlic. My landlubber friend had the chicken parmesan and he cleaned the plate. Of course the hush puppies were great too. Reasonably priced, wonderful family run restaurant, friendly staff. Always a go-to place.

Went there tonight with my aunt and wish I could have given a 1/4 of a star. We been going for at least 35 years and the waitress was rude and ruined our meal the food was good but the waitress was the worst. After being nasty to us then came to the table and complained about the tip. We went up front and she followed us running her mouth. She then told us do you know that her daddy own the restaurant.Like that matter maybe she needs to get her daddy to give her what she thought she should get. Instead of throwing a Childress fit
