Tuna was good, plan to come back.
The shift lead, Cammie, that works there is incredibly rude. I ordered Door Dash and when our subs were received (hook and ladder & brisket and cheddar) there was absolutely nothing on the sub. We received toasted bread. Seems there is a known glitch/error in the system where it will mark your sub with nothing to go on it. I did confirm with another shift lead that it is a known issue and that when it happens the employee is to reach out to the customer to confirm their menu selections. Cammie told me she asked the Door Dash driver to contact me in which the driver refused so I contacted the Door Dash driver who was incredibly helpful and in just as much disbelief as I was when I informed him that he just delivered two subs that had nothing on them. He confirmed that she did not even once ask him to contact me. He even offered to go back to the store, have them correct it and redeliver to me on his dime and time to which I kindly declined due to fear of Cammie tampering with our food. I did not however get a phone call to verify my order, instead they just sent two loaves of toasted bread. When I called Firehouse Subs to inquire what happened Cammie informed me that people order just bread all the time and proceeded to hang up on me 🙃 when I spoke with another shift lead today (the day after the incident) they informed me that when this happens it is ALWAYS a mistake and not someone just ordering a 16.00 toasted sub roll.. Cammie was quick to tell me our order was fulfilled correctly however they even left out the two bags of chips ordered and two brownies ordered.. she informed me that they were busy and that was her excuse for our order not being filled adequately and then hung up on me a second time.. because of Cammie I will never return to Firehouse Subs in Mechanicsville.. her utter disrespect and disregard to customer satisfaction was subpar!
2 workers 1 male & female guy worried more about is misplace phone then customers, hand washing zero, done with this place. His phone was in his console, female cashier & manking sandwiches, a couple w child walked out, 3 minutes and neither acknowledge them which the guy was still searching for hSaturday. About 1:40 pm Saturday. 10/12/24
I was the only person in the store. Ordered my sandwich get home to eat and these morons got it wrong. None of the toppings were there. No one else was there. I’m 25 minutes away from but I have to drive all the way back there. No refund. They basically stole money from me and gave me the wrong food. Stay away.

The staff is trying but the fact is the location has had poor staffing and turn over nonstop over the past 5 years I would guess. As a result the food quality is all over the place.
Not to mention you can come in at anytime of the day and you will be stuck for upwards of 30 plus minutes waiting for two subs.
Ice has been broke for over a month.
At somepoint ownership needs to care or cooperate needs to take it over.
I come in rarely and the staff remembers me and my order. Always fast and good. Best meatball subs in the business!

$20 for a sub with next to no meat and watered down soup. I'm literally pulling off bread because there are gaps of no meat in the sandwich.

This is the last place I ate before I got sick I've been sick for the last 3 days
Place was absolutely awful. The manager was on the phone visibly upset about people not coming into work slamming and throwing things. It was a pretty horrible environment. Floors were disgusting, it looked like no one had mopped there in weeks.

Spent over $60 bucks on four sandwiches for take out. Two were completely wrong! One was a veggie, all mayonnaise, a little lettuce and a sliver of onion and for 6 bucks that is what they call a veggie! They didn't bother to put any of the requested ingredients on it including the cheese. Never again! Go to Jersey Mike's!
