IHOP Mechanicsville did not disappoint! I ordered the blueberry pancake combo and they were delicious. We came for dinner and there was no wait for a Wednesday night.

Stopped there for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning. We were amazed at how the staff worked hard to serve customers. It seemed like a well managed operation. Food was great, and our server was a lovely young woman who dealt with another complaining customer with grace and respect. She didn't have to, he was obviously trying to save a couple dollars by claiming that the food was bad (after he and his family ate all of it).

Service was phenomenal. Eggs were dry. Almost seemed like they were powdered eggs. Other food was meh.
Overall a good experience. They no longer make grilled cheese. We had a great waitress and staff. Corrected anything, and kept clearing table from trash, ie: straw wrappers , dirty napkins, and finished dishes, cups while still eating. Very nice overall.

I have not eaten or received food yet so the 2 stars may change. I am seated by the emergency exit on this 40degree day. This emergency exit door has been opened by both staff and non staff atleast 8 times. Every time a blast of cold air comes streaming into the restaurant onto me and my children.
