The worst shit I ever had in my life absolutely no season lettuce taste bad rice and that veggie bowl thing everything taste like tap water

Have been ordering the Oaxaca bowl for weeks. When ordering online there was no option to add avocado so I added in comments. When I went in the manager ( male ) politely asked me to pay for avocado slices at which I said of course but I did ask for a solution when ordering online. He just ask me to select an “add-on” option and clarified in comments to add avacado slices to my bowl instead of whatever I selected. Ordered the bowl multiple times since then no problems - Ordered today and pushed add extra queso which charges $1.99 ( same price as avocado slices ) and put in comments “i paid difference pls just add avacado instead of extra queso!” A women working there still demanded the door dasher pay the extra fee when they got their to pick it up. I called to clarify why that happened and spoke to a VERY rude woman who claimed to be manager/owner saying they added extra queso ( WHICH THEY DID NOT AND I ALSO PAID $4.99 FOR QUESO WITH THE ORDER ) and that basically I was the problem not her. Or really maybe you should either 1 - fix your ordering system online for customers or 2 offer better customer service when I eat there about twice a week and pay plenty of money. All for you to make your business look bad for $2 avacado charge! You’re doing big things lady!! NO BUSINESS FROM ME.

We ate at the Mechanicsville location on our way home from out of state. I always order a chimichanga every time I have Mexican, which is often. I ordered one today with ground beef. When it was brought out to me it looked like a taquito ( a 1/3 of the size). A manager came over and was not happy when I told him that. He said that was their normal size chimi’s. To top it all off when I took my first bite it was lovely.

First time trying Mexico Restaurant in Mechanicsville. Awful. We did to-go. The orders were wrong. I ordered supreme steak nachos. What I received is steamed steak with a few chips. Enchiladas lack flavor. And the taco order was missing all toppings. It was a tortilla shell, meat, cheese. For supreme, where is the rest! Horrible first impression. I cannot recommend and definitely will not go there again.

The people and food at this restaurant are top notch!! My parents, Dick and Jan, have been going here for years. Recently my Dad passed away and while the family was in town, we ordered take out from there. Not only did they have an order for 9 people ready in 15 minutes, but the food was delicious and made right, even with the special requests for the picky eaters, but they also treated my son, daughter and myself with so much care and respect. They gave their heartfelt condolences to the family and asked how my Mom was doing. I cannot say enough good about this restaurant and their great food and service. 5 plus stars!!

Food was very good but service was horrible with the most unpleasant staff starting with the receptionist who showed us to the table & threw the menus on it. Would be better if it was a self serve restaurant.

I love this restaurant! While living around the Mechanicsville area, my husband and I loved to get Chori Pollo. So much so that even now that we have moved away, I will still pop by for this tasty dish. Consistently tasty, well prepared, always on time for pick up and the staff is kind. I have never had any issues, and highly recommend this restaurant!

Mexico Restaurant has never disappointed us. We’ve eaten at this restaurant since the late 1990s and have always had fantastic food at an expected price in a welcoming environment. It is my favorite Mexican restaurant of all the cities in which I’ve eaten Mexican food. Well done!
