Mezcal is one of my local favorite restaurants - food, service and atmosphere are consistently delicious, prompt and pleasant. Portions are ample, pricing is fair, and selections are robust. I drive by 5 other Mexican restaurants closer to my home because I prefer Mezcal over those.

My family and I had dinner at MezCal Mexican Restaurant, and our experience was average overall. The food was decent and met expectations, but nothing particularly stood out. Our server was kind and polite; however, attentiveness was lacking. We ordered cheese sauce that never arrived, and it was not addressed during the meal.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and inviting, which we appreciated. That said, the floors appeared to have some type of cleaner or residue on them, making them slippery and somewhat difficult to walk on safely.

While there were positive aspects to our visit, there are areas that could use improvement, particularly in service attention and floor safety.

All around just really middle of the road. Had to throw a lot of hot sauce on the food to get any sort of flavor. Everything was also sweet for someone reason too. Kinda just made me sad to be there to be honest. There was a fake horse in the back, so that was kinda cool.

First impressions on our first time visit: Atmosphere: Chill Ambience; Service was great until we received our meal after that there was no follow up. Husband enjoyed his mixed fajitas and his sopes. The Corn tortillas for the fajitas were hand made and they were great! They did not leave that funny after taste, in your mouth. I had the shrimp fajitas and that was good also. However, the Queso Dip we ordered for the chips was watered down, and so was the salsa that comes for the Chips on the table already. Overall, we did enjoy and would come back again.

Decent place but the service was a lot slower than most Mexican restaurants and the food was not my favorite. It seemed to be unseasoned and lower in quality. The meat was really good though so that's why it got 4 stars.
