The staff are attentive and polite.

Stopped in on our road trip for a (usually) solid meal. The food here was sub par at best. They didn't have steak made (at lunch time), the chicken looked like they mixed day old back in and the rice was barely seasoned. The restaurant itself is very unkempt. The restrooms were disgusting. Definitely not a pleasant experience.

I recently revisited Moe’s after staying away for over a year, and unfortunately, I had a really bad experience. The chips were stale; this was the first time in over 10 years of eating Moe's that I experienced bad chips. The portion sizes were noticeably skimpy, and the entire location looked run-down and neglected. The overall atmosphere didn’t feel welcoming at all. For a place that’s supposed to offer flavorful food in a fun environment, this experience was seriously disappointing. I won’t be returning to this franchise location—it just doesn’t live up to the standard Moe’s is known for. Go to Midlotian's Moes if you can!

After this location was sold approx 18 months ago it has really gone downhill. The all white meat chicken, toppings, rice, or atmosphere was not the same taste or quality as other locations in Richmond. Will not return.

The only reason it’s getting a 2 star is because of the chips. I don’t post many reviews on food establishments. I’m not looking for free food, or excuses why it was bad. after three bites of a burrito bowl and two chips with queso. I ended up throwing up and throwing away everything else. which I guess it’s my fault because I should have looked closer at the food before ordering. rice was like eating non cooked pasta, so hard. I understand having it a little al dente
But not like raw pasta. The atmosphere and there is just awful.only two people in there at lunch time. Windows and entry doors were dirty and handle on door sticky. workers behind the counter. Say hello with about as much enthusiasm as a 10-year-old child having to wake up at 5 AM on the weekend to go do yard work.(not happy). for the price that you have to pay nowadays almost $17 for a bowl and some chips with queso.(which the amount of food is small) then the machine and the employee has the audacity to ask you to pick a tip amount. if you don’t look close enough, there’s no button to select zero tip. You have to hit the back button in order to do that they give you four options so you have to hit another button just to find no tip. Which is set up by the Business itself. don’t waste your money. I would’ve rather went to McDonald’s, and McDonald’s has some of the worst food in the world.also why is the owner/manager giving reviews, I guess you need to help but up that poor rating somehow.

Really super dirty. I’m glad I went inside instead of ordering pickup or delivery so I could actually see just how filthy this restaurant has gotten. I paid for my meal, only to be polite - but did not eat it. I didn’t want free chips once I got up to the checkout, because the bin they were stored in was so caked with oil and grim. For a location that has only just reopened in the past few years, I am shocked at the amount of dirt, filth, grim. Hey corporate……this location needs another intervention badly!

Let me my preface by saying, I love Moe's in general. That's probably the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. This location changed management a while back and I had high hopes, but it's not good. The last time I was there I ended up not ordering my usual cilantro and fresh jalapenos because both were were visibly brown and clearly old. I'm glad I didn't order ahead... They only had one salsa available at the salsa bar and it tasted rancid. The place also needs a major scrub down. Based on this last visit I have major concerns about general cleanliness and food safety. It's a shame.

Their service has been improved a lot. The food was great. The rice has been changed and not overcooked. I love it.

Moe’s Southwest Grill never disappoints! Fresh ingredients, flavorful burritos, and friendly staff. The free chips and salsa are a great bonus. Always a solid choice for a quick and tasty meal!
