They use to be good years ago. I use to drive from Northside of Richmond to eat there. Moved to Mechanicsville and have tried them three times and the food has no flavor and worthless. I have much better in Mechanicsville. They have a history of which chef is working. You have to catch them on the right chef day. If not the food is garbage. I think their reviews come from the better chefs of the crew. That was my last Peking purchase. In the refrigerator waiting for garbage day.

I went with a friend Friday evening and it was packed. This was my first time. Chicken and broccoli was lukewarm (I like it super hot) but still delicious. I placed a to go order for sesame chicken and the wrong customer got it, however the lady up front made sure to replace my order quickly. They have a combo option which is a good deal. I would definitely eat here again.

Upon my last visit that was for takeout which I usually don't do I usually eat it and based on the last Sunday buffet. Something has changed. I had a decade and a half break years ago from Peking in Mechanicsville but went to the one off of Route 10 if you times. A few of my Asian restaurants closed I guess selling the property for Destruction and rebuild of another business. I felt like Peking maybe it changed hands because prior to my visit a month ago everything was great. Or maybe this was just because of takeout but my lo mein seem to be mixed with already cooked in fresh cooked noodles that were a disaster. Everybody there is nice in the service is great but this was not good for me. I will sit down and eat the next time. If you items on the Sunday buffet or not available anymore. But I don't recall items being deleted previously from several visits. Hope I'm wrong about the changing management and the same people are still there. Noticed the guy taking trash out that did not really seem to be a trash guy. Fingers crossed

The service is awesome! Shout out to the fried rice. Thank you so much for adding peas, carrots, and eggs. This is traditional fried rice! The others can't compete or compare ❤️
This is our go-to restaurant. We don't eat out much, but every once in a while when we want to go out, 9 times out of 10, it is to Peking. **Edit: we just got take-out yesterday and it was great. The portions were generous. I highly recommend the Tropical Shrimp!

Kung Po chicken wasn't spicy at all. Hot and sour soup was ok, but I've had better at similar restaurants. Brown rice was like eating cold oatmeal (no milk, no sugar, no nothing). Yeck! I won't be back.
