They pictures don’t match what is shipped. They substituted items that were shown with bed of salad with pasta which is not good for diabetics. I bought food based on carb count on packaging. Also do not answer email or phone messages. So I guess I will have to cancel and go with a competitor.

Poor customer service. There is some bait and switch with what pictures show and the food you get. I bought food according to carbs listed and now they decided not to let us know nutritional breakdown of food. I am just not getting what I paid for. This is something new since they launched new website. I have been a customer awhile but will have to find a competitive company for the future.

I live alone and often ended up not eating a full balanced meal, so this was a good option for me. I was especially pleased to find that it was a local business - based just a few miles from me. Because I am so close, my meals are personally delivered to my door saving on packaging that would otherwise be required. I have liked all of the meals I’ve eaten, and even had a little difficulty picking my five because they all look so good. I appreciate that the detailed nutrition information is always provided.

I switched and tried several other meal delivery companies (mainly to try different varieties out, as well as a few had lower prices), but now I’m back!!! I found that the lower priced ones weren’t really worth it after all, because their meals almost tasted like regular grocery store microwave dinners. (And I never lost anymore weight on any of the others either LOL). Once I found myself actually ordering Door Dash more, and throwing away the meals because I didn’t eat them by the end of the week, and basically wasted all that money… I knew I needed to come back. Plus I’m supporting a local company with Personal Chef!!!

All the ingredients are listed and the nutrition information is on each meal package. Such a treat especially as we are getting tired of cooking during COVID.

Personal Chef To Go has proven to be a perfect option for my aging mother and stepfather and the perfect gift for me and my siblings to give them several weeks each month. It is simple for them to choose their meals on the website, and we place the orders for them. They ship on Wednesdays and arrive to Maryland the next day. They keep in the fridge for 10-12 days, and all my mom has to do is pop it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. They called tonight SO excitedly to tell me how much they enjoyed the shrimp scampi and raves about the large size of the shrimp and the hefty quantity of shrimp in each of their servings (8!). I really haven't heard her sound this happy since Covid began, so thank you from the bottom of my heart for this service.

Same thing happened here. But instead of opening up and seeing a bunch of evaporated dry ice, it was filled with ice packs that were COLD! What I thought was a ruined delivery turned out amazing because of their foresight! The food was amazing! This was the perfect service for this corona pandemic. I plan to keep my service for quite some time. Makes it super easy to feed a family where the parents are busy working.
