They didn't want to serve me as if I were asking for a gift. I have money to pay you...

My family and I had a great time here. TJ and Ahmaad's customer service was spectacular. These guys rock. The food was very fresh. We really enjoyed ourselves. Keep up the good work.

Ordered through the app. One of the fish sandwiches was not prepared as it was asked to be, but I had an extremely rude drive thru employee, which really was terrible, so we will not be returning to this particular restaurant. The food was good, except for the mistake on one of the sandwiches. Corporate office has been contacted & was very apologetic, but that employee is the one who needs extra training in customer service.

Worst Popeyes location I’ve been too. Just got an order of spicy tenders and opened them up at home. Looks like they’ve been under a heat lamp for hours. When ordering ahead of time they will say they don’t have what you ordered. Terrible food and service. Stay

This location is not only the worst Popeyes in Mechanicsville but probably the worst fast food restaurant in the area. The drive thru is slow so if you have the option to go inside (they lock their doors during open hours sometimes - not sure why) you will be greeted with blank faces who quickly glance at you then walk as far from the register as possible. They simply do not greet you. Whatever. So long as the food is good. The food, if available, is a major toss-up. I say if available because upon ordering there is a 50% chance what you want they do not have ready. Want biscuits? 6 minutes. Want mac n cheese? 12 minutes. Want chicken? Well, they have that but it has probably been under the heat lamp so long it tastes like biting thru card board. There is one woman who works at this location - older, glasses - who seems to actually take some level of pride in her job. She looks stressed as hell but she is kind. I would be stressed to if i was single-handedly keeping the location running. Either pay these employees enough to where they do their job at a serviceable level or fire them and scout the chik fil a employees. The place is miserable.

2/15/24. Chamberlayne and AtleeThe manager was not available to customers. She communicated with her employees but had her back to the counter most of the time. She was talking loudly with a young male employee about another store needing hot sauce and that she was too busy to be bothered with that.None of the staff were engaging or friendly. In the 10 minutes I waited in line, no one said hello, we will be right with you. There were only three people in line and all the staff were too busy to acknowledge us.Only a couple cars came through drive thru. Finally as it was my turn. I was pleasant, said to the lady with glasses, “wow, you guys sure are busy” She took our order and I said “ thank you sweetheart “The young man came in to work as we sat to eat, now we’ve been in the place for 30 min.He walked in after his ride, parked in the middle of the handicap parking area. He got food after he had been in the store for maybe less than 10 minutes and took it out to the car so I guess they had ordered ahead. He was the one that the manager was telling about the hot sauce. As we were leaving, I called out to the three people standing behind the counter, said thank you so much y’all have a pleasant day. It was one other man in there sitting and eating his lunch. There were about six people behind the counter. The trash cans were full and the floor was very slippery out in the lobby area were seating was. The whole time I was in there for nearly an hour there were only 11 people in the lobby, eating lunch. A few people ordered their lunch and left. It was not overly busy.. It was busy and quick service for everyone else that came in the salon or the store .Long story short very bad customer service I wouldn’t necessarily want to go back there and honestly I thought they were rude.

The Atlee location is my go to restaurant of choice. The staff is always welcoming and courteous. Starting with the General Manager Chris, front area Dawn, drive thru Miss Rose, and all other staff I have encountered make me feel like I get a VIP treatment! Chris and his staff have turned this location a whole 180 degrees from where it was in the past. I will go out of my way to visit this location over the location closer to my house due to this fact. The service is always fast, the restaurant is always clean , food hot and accurate to the order. I wish I could eat here more than twice a week that I already do. Would suggest this location over all others I have visited or if your in the area.

The popcorn shrimp is excellent. Their apple pies are better than the old time McDonald's pies.

Everything about this place is awful. Wait times, service. I've been served chicken that wasn't fully cooked, and I've been served chicken that has obviously been sitting around for hours, until it's rock hard. I give them a try every few months because I do like Popeyes, but this location can never get their stuff

I was in the area and came across these popeyes, and it's by far the best one. The food was fresh and hot and the customer was good too. I'll be returning here each time going forward.
