The rice at this location is always overcooked, it tastes like they added sugar which is not how you make sushi or any Japanese food. Also they left out the seseme seeds on the onigiri. I recommend the Lombardy road one in Richmond instead as they always make their rice perfectly and their toppings are also put on all the time.

This is just the sushi counter inside Kroger, it's not a real restaurant. It's good as far as grocery store sushi goes but if you're looking for a real sushi restaurant you won't find it here.

If anyone is considering or interested in becoming a franchisee in Michigan, don’t.
There’s unfair treatment to sushi franchisees. Their management is so poor and unprofessional. They will make you sell your sushi bar if you don’t do what they say or talk back to them. They put so much pressure on you by giving you a ticket costing you more than $1000. They never appreciate franchisees' value; instead expect you to obey their words and something in return ($ or gifts).

just tried your sushi at a Fred Meyer store in wood village, Oregon. I got the poke bowl. It was terrible. The tuna and the salmon had a lot of sinew in it. There was very little vegetables. No gari, no seaweed salad and no wasabi. It was almost all rice and the rice was hard. It was a waste of $11.99. Before your company took over I used to go through all the time but now I will never go back again. I definitely feel ripped off.
