The woman refused to wait on me as I'm standing there for almost 5 minutes. Due to the mobile orders she was filling. She finally asked me if it was almost 8, and that her second person would be there then. It was 7:35...I told her I needed to get to work, to which she responded "I guess I'll stop making these mobile orders and wait in you I just have to tell my manager, I get so backed up."She was going to complete orders for people who were not physically there, and make me wait 25 minutes to place a single coffee order.

This Starbucks is slower than a slug in the winter moving uphill. Don't plan on getting your drink within 15 minutes because that's how long it took me. Geez!

Facsimile of an actual Starbucks. Always seem to be out of basic ingredients, today 3/4 of the machines were broken. Once I found something that I wanted, that they could actually make, I was given the wrong doing 3 times. Pretty sure the 2 guys working the stand weren't actual Starbucks employees, but Kroger employees filling in, as they had no idea what they were doing

Really cheap on filling a tall Pike leaving a lot of room when I asked for none. On top of that, it wasn't very hot and a bit stale. Consider this place a Starbucks Outlet. Will stick to better options in the area.

8/26/23 One employee, should always be 2. Took 20 mins, i was second in line. Half way through my Frappuccino while i was shopping, i sucked up a piece of a plastic wrapper. I went to inform the barista, he told me it was probably a wrapper from the straw (implying it was my fault I can only assume) however, the straw wrappers are paper! Nice! So i mentioned that and his response was "OK DUDE". I'm not even a dude. Not offended. HE was just incredibly rude. I just wanted him to keep an eye out for what he was using, I didn't ask for a refund nor was I offered one. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE.

January 26 at approximately 5:15 p.m. I went to the Starbucks in the Kroger at Rutland Marketplace. I will preface what I am going to say with I do not have high expectations here in regards to service. The smaller gentleman who appears to be the manager is probably the best barrista in Mechanicsville, though, so I don't get too uptight when it comes to the staffs abilities outside of making coffee. Tonight, however, something was different. The master barrista man was not working. It was a man and a woman who both appeared to be either late teens or early twenties. When I walked up they did not greet me. Fine. I am used to this. What was different was the look of annoyance from the man followed by a look of disgust from the woman. Alright. Strange. The woman approached the register but did not ask what I wanted. She just stood there blankly staring at me. I get the same thing every time I go. A plain coffee for me and a latte for my wife. This time it was more costly than normal. Again, strange. The thing is the look of disdain coming from the woman's face was so jarring I just accepted that tonight i will be paying more. Here is the issue. Something was going on between the two workers. I dont know if they were jilted lovers or mortal enemies but the tension was off the charts. I sort of feel bad for the woman. She looked miserable and continued giving me looks like I was responsible for all the evil in the world. She made the drinks. They were not on the level of the master barrista but I dont expect anyone else to create magic like he does. They were...not good. My point is I get it we all have hard days. We all have bad days. This experience was so bizarre that for the first time in years I am leaving a google review. I dont recall her saying any words to me other than the price of the drinks. Maybe they had both been told they were being laid off? I dont know. I hope they both feel better. The man, again, looked more annoyed than anything. The girl...just damn. Feel better.
