What a wonderful experience! The staff were absolutely lovely. Due to some health issues, I'm unable to have caffeine right now. The staff were extremely validating, and named what they had available - they have decaf espresso here! They made extra care to ensure that the decaf latte I ordered was separate from the caffeinated latte my mom ordered. The drink is amazing - they make their vanilla syrup in-house. It's a lovely, balanced drink. Beautiful coffee shop, great music and vibes, and attentive and kind staff. Will return again, one of my favorite coffee shops I've been to in VA! ☕Dietary restrictions: They were attentive to ensure that my decaf drink was separate from caffeinated drinks.

Always the best coffee, waffles, baked goods and environment but that's not what makes TLC the best. They are the best because of how you are treated. Every single person there makes you feel welcomed and cared for. It's like going over to a friend or family member's house for coffee. I always feel better when I leave than I did when I arrived.

Some friends and I came here for coffee today at the recommendation of one of them. They said this was their favorite coffee spot and I can see why. We were immediately greeted upon entering. When placing an order, they were sure to ask about any dairy/creamer, syrups, and whipped cream options. Their prices are very reasonable, especially with being a small business. I love that they make some of the syrups in house, as well as the coffee beans are done in house. Their food options are pretty standard for a coffee shop but that are so delicious! I got the sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Not only was it a large portion, it tasted delicious! The best breakfast sandwich I've had. It was so big I could barely take a whole bite of it. For my first coffee, I got the cold brew with lavender and honey syrup plus almond milk. It was the right balance of dairy to syrup. My friend ordered a large dulce de leche and it looked so amazing. On the way home, I got my mom a latte to go and also got a cinnamon latte for me. Everything was just so good. It's a nice space inside with a lot of sofas and tables to sit at. There's even a corner for kids to play and sit down. We were here for a while catching up and we didn't get rushed to leave at all. They even let you bring in dogs if they're well behaved, so we had people coming up to pet my friend's dog. They even asked if he could have a pup cup and wrote his name on it. I'm so glad I found out about this place because I will definitely be back frequently.
